A chance to reminisce in pleasant surrounding with helpful staff and a friendly atmosphere. Great sitting by the open fire for the evening.

Lovely place to Stay

Pros: Easy to find, having a restaurant was a bonus, as no having to look for an evening meal, dog friendly, which is very important to me.
Cons: Didn't need any improving for myself.
Location: Location was in a small rural village. which was the sort of location I like.
Was a stop over on my way home, had my dog with me, was made very welcome by all the staff, evening meal in the bar so the dog could be with me as good, good choice of food on the menu. The staff let me know off a nice walk for the dog.

Travelling South to visit family.

Pros: Friendly. Good bar, and food. Great atmosphere.
Cons: Water supply to the shower.
Location: Excellent location for the Lakes.
Great place to break the journey. Enjoyed a day up Skidaw. Back to a cosy bar to watch the Rugby. Great atmosphere. Will stop again.
