La maison vient d'être achetée le 8 juillet 2019. Alors que nous fournissons et rénovons la maison depuis un mois, toutes les touches de finition n’ont pas été ajoutées et, par conséquent, nous accordons une réduction pour les premières réservations. Nous continuons à meubler et à rénover constamment. Les photos ont été prises le 5 août 2019 et ne peuvent donc pas montrer tous les meubles, mais comme vous pouvez le constater, ils sont bien meublés. Notre liste tardive est votre gain. Cette maison louera pour 550 $ par nuit (ou plus) une fois terminée.

C'est une maison de 3 chambres à coucher, 2 1/2 salles de bain assis directement sur le côté de l'océan Atlantique de Peaks Island à Elm Tree Cove. Une des deux maisons sur un petit chemin de terre jouxtant une terre préservée et préservée. Observez et entendez les vagues de l'océan s'écraser sur les rochers juste à l'extérieur des fenêtres de votre salon et de votre chambre. Profitez de votre café du matin sur le grand porche couvert avec une vue imprenable sur le lever du soleil et une vue panoramique de haut en bas de la côte rocheuse .. Absolument à couper le souffle! L'un des meilleurs spots sur l'arrière-pays.

La maison est une maison de campagne bien entretenue avec 3 chambres. Tous sont décorés avec goût et ont tous vue sur l'océan !!!.

Le 1er étage a une cuisine bien équipée mise à jour avec réfrigérateur de bonne taille et une cuisinière électrique / four et micro-ondes. Il y a aussi un long salon / salle à manger en forme de L conçu pour profiter pleinement de la vue imprenable. Il y a aussi une bibliothèque et une salle de bain complète avec douche au 1er étage.

Le 2ème étage dispose de 3 chambres: la 1ère avec un lit queen size et une demi-salle de bain attenante. La 2ème a un lit complet et un futon. La 3ème a un lit jumeau et un lit Antique (petit plein - 48x72). Il y a aussi une salle de bain complète avec douche / jacuzzi.

Peaks Island est à 15 minutes en ferry de Portland, où vous pourrez découvrir une belle ville balnéaire avec une grande variété de super restaurants et d’activités. L'île offre des possibilités exceptionnelles de marche, de jogging, d'équitation, de tennis, de natation et de détente avec une réserve d'oiseaux sauvages, un club social pour les activités, des petites boutiques, une épicerie et des restaurants. Vous pouvez facilement aller à pied à tout.

Commodités: wifi, barbecue à gaz Weber, téléviseur LCD à écran plat 42 ", télévision par câble, four à micro-ondes, grand four, grille-pain, cafetière filtre à goutte, tous les ustensiles de cuisine dont vous aurez besoin, y compris un casier à homard, un extincteur et de la fumée. détecteurs, laveuse / sécheuse, ventilateurs de fenêtre, parking pour facilement 2-3 voitures.

Les choses que vous trouverez approvisionnées au chalet: propane pour le gril à gaz, couvre-lits et oreillers (les serviettes de bain, les couvertures et le linge de maison ne sont PAS disponibles), les outils pour préparer un dîner au homard, les produits de nettoyage, les lanternes, les ustensiles de cuisine complets, les tasses , tasses, etc., outils de gril, jeux de famille.

Les réservations pour la semaine sont du samedi au samedi. Du 15 juin au 15 septembre, RÉSERVATIONS HEBDOMADAIRES SEULEMENT !!! Les week-ends pris en compte entre ces dates s’ils se situent dans un délai d’un mois à compter du début de l’occupation. Renseignez-vous sur le propriétaire (les tarifs pour les week-ends de pointe, s'ils sont approuvés, peuvent être différents des tarifs affichés).

Quiet and peaceful

We were up for a wedding at Peaks Island in October. A ferry ride over and a very short drive to the unit. It is located on the North East side of the island with beautiful rocky shore views. The unit itself is clean and inviting. Rustic style charm, natural woods, and warm.

An amazing vacation

Peaks Island is an absolutely beautiful place. We really enjoyed our vacation. The house is located right on the water where we would sit on the porch and watch the waves crash into the rocks. Every window on the front of the house looked over the water. Gino was great to work with and communication and check in was very easy. We would definitely stay here again. If you want a beautiful, serene, relaxing vacation, this is it. I would recommend renting a golf cart, we were really glad we did and explored the island with it.

Great Getaway

We stayed here for my wife's birthday with 2 friends and the house was perfect. It was very clean when we got there and checking in with the owner was a breeze. Everything on the property was in good order and worked well. The owner is very prompt in replying to any question or concern you may have. I had a question or two and he responded very quickly. The location was very peaceful and quiet. We enjoyed just sitting listen to the waves crash over the rocks. I highly recommend this house to anyone wanting a relaxing getaway. I would definitely go back again.

We were the first renters in this beautiful property and there were a couple of snafu’s beyond their control. Gino always text, answered his phone and things were resolved immediately! Jamie & Ozzie the care taker crew were incredible at resolving all issues quickly and efficiently. These owners were so great to rent from. Property is well maintained and in a great location. We loved the salt air, the sunrise and the beautiful views from every room in the house. We will definitely come back next summer! Eric & Annette

One of the Best Vacations Spots

Six of us had the great fortune to stay at this beautiful cottage the week of July 15th. The home is very comfortable and was well stocked with all the staples and kitchen equipment we needed. There was a cool breeze every night and there was a fan so sleeping conditions were perfect. The view from the front porch was so magnificent that we spent the majority of our time sitting there and looking out over the ocean. It was the most relaxing vacation I have ever experienced. The only downside is the number of golf carts and people coming down to the lookout spot in front of the cottage. They did not bother us in the least, but you should expect this. I would definitely consider staying here again and highly recommend it to others.

Perfect Island Get-A-Way

My family and I can't say enough about this property. It was wonderful. Pictures can't possibly capture the incredible views or the wonderful accommodations. All three spacious bedrooms had direct ocean views. The first floor living space was open and inviting and the kitchen, actually the whole house, was beautifully appointed with everything we could possibly need for our family reunion. We had big family breakfasts at the farmhouse size table with full ocean views, grilled and ate outside on the wide front porch. The house was perfectly located for fishing, bird watching, hiking and exploring Battery Steele and it was a walkable distance from the restaurants and stores closer to the ferry. Although Peaks Island can be fairly crowded with day trippers and golf carts, the house is at the end of a quiet dirt lane that ends at a trailhead. So, our stay was peaceful and serene. Would give this host and this location more stars if we could!

Peaceful, picturesque, playful Peaks Island place

Our family of mom, dad, 2 adult children, their spouses, 2 granddaughters, and a Boston terrier had a week of reconnecting with each other on Peaks Island in this beautiful house. Gino is a great communicator. He gave us details of the workings of the house and property, well ahead of time. The large front porch and quiet path in front of the house were perfect for the "littles" to explore and play, without fear of road traffic. The beds are comfortable and the wonderful windows that are screened and open easily gave us the best part of the trip.....the constant sound of the ocean. The kitchen is updated, well equipped, and clean. The 3 bathrooms, with one on the ground floor, made life easy. The washer and dryer is another great addition to the light, bright, breezy, and quiet home. We took advantage of the stove, oven, gas grill, comfy porch chairs, and large dining table and chairs. We hope to stay here again. We loved our visit.

The best place to stay on Peaks Island!

I loved this place! It is the second house located on a short dirt road with only two houses on it. It is so peaceful and quiet. After the house there is a trail you can walk. In front of the house there is the road, some bushes, beautiful rocks and then the ocean. You can watch the sunrise. The house itself is so cute and has everything you need. It is up-to-date and the windows open easily so with a nice breeze coming in. You won't be sorry if you rent this house.

great location and space

We stayed here with our 3 yr and 1 yr old. It is a beautiful house, Gino was extremely responsive and kind, and the location was perfect. Hiking trail right next to the house but private enough where we felt like we could relax while we were at the house. Our 3 yr old loved climbing on the rocks in front of the house. Would stay again!

Gorgeous views from the porch & from every bedroom!

The cottage sits in a special location that takes full advantage of all the views the back shore of Peaks Island has to offer. However, while it sits at the end of a dead-end dirt road, the dead end leads to public hiking paths as well as public rocky beaches adjacent to the property, meaning that there was a steady stream of traffic past the porch. While it was mostly kind islanders and tourists, there was a late night trio of loud, drunken young men who seemingly had just discovered swearing and alcohol. They were gone in less than a half hour though, having run out of booze. Not a complaint, but want to give a heads-up that while the cottage is lovely and welcoming with a great porch that overlooks the best part of Casco Bay, it is not as private as we would have liked. Still a gorgeous spot. And a lovely cottage with all the needs for a vacationing group.

Cute little property great location access to everything we needed we rented a golf cart to get around the island for a couple days it was so much fun… The children were comfortable the nook in the living room was amazing for a nap!

Great family vacation!

We had a great time at Gino’s house. The space was perfect for a family to gather, eat meals, and enjoy the stunning views of Elm Cove. We’ve been coming to the island for over 30 years (some of us longer), and this was one of the best spots we have stayed. The kitchen is well appointed, the appliances are nice, and the bedrooms are spacious with great views. It is unique to find a home on Peaks with 3 bathrooms, which makes the space even more comfortable for a long stay. We will be back!

Fantastic Location; house needs improvement

Not providing basic linens is absurd. Four of us arrived for a three night visit, and having not read the fine print, discovered the day before arrival that there would be no towels or sheets, pillowcases, etc. Had we known, we would have selected another house to rent, as needing to bring linens from California for a short trip is not practical. Gino had someone drop off two sets to us, which we appreciated. But stating this in bold highlighted font in the property description would have been appreciated. The house is spectacularly located but… it’s dirty. There’s a giant jetted jacuzzi tub, but there’s mold growing in the jets. All the lightbulbs were burned out in the kitchen and no additional bulbs anywhere to be found, so we scavenged from other light fixtures. There were no basic amenities generally provided, not even soap. There were cobwebs everywhere. The dryer was broken, there was a plumbing leak which caused water to pool in a downstairs room when someone was taking a shower upstairs. And no towels to mop up the water. The floors are severely warped so the beds on rolling metal frames slide into the center of the room and had to be propped with cardboard. But the location cannot be beat. Beautiful views and so lovely to hear the waves crashing just feet away. Stocking the house with bedsheets and towels, soap and other basics seems like a simple and inexpensive thing to do to improve travelers experience and resulting ratings. Gino was communicative and I appreciated that.

We really enjoyed our stay. Very nice section of the island right on the water. The house was clean and had everything we needed. We rented a golf cart and explored the island. The family really liked that. Hannigan's Market had everything we needed and had really good sandwiches. Would rent this house again. Thanks Gino

Spectacular views!

It doesn’t get much better than waking up to a spectacular sunrise except perhaps watching the full moon rise above the horizon! This property is situated right along a cove next to a preserve, perfect for exploring and fishing. Quiet and serene, Gino answered all our questions in a timely manner. Check in and check out couldn’t have been any easier!
