Passignano sul Trasimeno is a charming village that stands on the shores of the lake of the same name, rich in history dating back to the Etruscan and Roman periods. From the lakeside you can reach the historic center via the narrow streets that climb up a hill until you reach the Rocca, the highest point of the village that offers a breathtaking view of the lake. The location is also ideal for visiting the beautiful neighboring towns: Monte del Lago, Castiglione del Lago with the suggestive Palazzo della Corgna, Panicale, Paciano, just to name a few. Cortona and Montepulciano are also easily reachable, as well as Perugia and Assisi, located a short distance away.
