Just next to Place de la République, this apartment sits in the historical building of Passage Vendome, one of the most characteristic passages of the old Paris. This 860 sq. ft. (80 m2) apartment is up four flights of stairs. The building is located across two courtyards, so the apartment offers absolute silence and calm.

The entrance opens onto a large living room, in which antique and modern furnishing creates a unique atmosphere. Floor is in marble and there are a fireplace, an antique dining table & six chairs, a pendulum, two antiques cupboard, two comfortable design chairs with a little table, and a CD player.

The kitchen is spacious, modern, and fully equipped. It is separated from the living area by "colombages", the typical vertical beams that normally constitutes the structure of the old building. It features a glass lunching table, two higher baby chairs and two adult chairs. It s fitted with a dishwasher, electric oven, gas cooktop, refrigerator & freezer, BABYCOOK, toaster, kettle, two Italian "caffettiere", and all of the pots, pans, and utensils you ll need.

At the entrance of the apartment (in the cupboard) there is also a washing machine with clothes dryer function.

There are three bedrooms, two of which communicating. The master bedroom has a queen-size bed, while the communicating bedroom has a a bunk bed (2 adult size places). The third room has a bunk bed (2 adult size places).
There is the possibility to add a comfortable Kartell mattress and some confortable air double mattress-bed for 2 adults, if you need.

The bathroom features a shower (quite large by Parisian standards) and a comfortable space for changing babies. The gas water heater in the toilet provides unlimited, hot water and allows for adjustable and efficient heating in the winter months.

Also: The apartment comes with Wi-Fi Internet access. Fixed telephone calls in Europe, France and overseas departments, Asia and Oceania, Africa and Middle East, America are free of charge, too. More over, calls to cell phones to specific countries (Often U.S. & Canada) may also be free (ask us for details as cost may vary with time and policies of operators).

LOCATION AND TRANSPORTATION

The apartment, in a 17th century building (recently redone), is in a very strategic place. It is in the same block of Passage Vendome which directly leads you to Place de la République. Here you can find a lot of public transportation options, which makes the apartment a very strategic location for a Paris visit: subway lines (n. 3, 5, 8, 9, 11), bus lines (n. 20, 56, 65 , 75, 96), and a taxi station.
Located in the center of Paris, you will be at 15 mn of Most of the interesting spots, Louvre, Saint Germain, Quartier Latin, Iles Saint Louis, Montmartre.

More over, the Marais Itself is a very nice, safe neighborhood with central and plenty of trendy shops and boutiques ranging from fashion to antiques, plus lots of Museums (Centre Pompidou, Musée d Art et d Histoire du Judaism, Musee Carnevalet etc. .) and historic spots. Unlike some other Areas in Paris, you will not have to run very far to buy your dinner: There Are Several food markets & shops close by.
