Beautiful, Comfortable Condo

We enjoyed out stay in Panama City Beach. The view from the condo of the gulf was perfect. The size of the patio and the chairs were perfect for having coffee or a glass of wine. The condo was well appointed and we enjoyed our stay.

Great stay for a family!

Our entire family came to celebrate my mom's 70th birthday and this place was so amazing and accommodating. Clean, beautiful views, and right on the beach. It was beautiful!

Location and views were amazing! But let’s see we arrived 2 hours past our check in and the condo wasn’t cleaned , beds weren’t made sofa bed wasn’t made or cleaned dirty towels etc had to leave to have dinner so they could go back and clean it.. So we end up checking in and getting settle around 10:30 after a 12 hour drive .. We really didn’t use much of the kitchen as we ate out most of the time but when we decided to make coffee the coffee maker was disgustingly dirty.. Pans were dirty , there was ants on counter top in kitchen.. Long story short they said they would reimburse us for dinner only got $100. They apparently left a bottle of wine and gift card we never received it.. Never again ..

Nice location, biggest issue was check-in and cleanliness

Been to PCB multiple times, but 1st time at GVE. PROS location was great, it was a Beach Front, great views of the beach and coast line from the 16th floor, close to grocery, a few fast food dining, attractions etc., for the most part the rental unit appeared as described from the pictures. CONS After a long drive we hoped to Check in early that wasn’t available we’re told the unit wasn’t cleaned and Some other inspection items weren’t done this was around 1/2 PM, cool No biggies we chilled at the beach and waited at 3 pm the cleaners were just getting in from another unit in the building (we happen to be on the elevator together when they were headed to clean the unit) checkin was at 4pm the unit was not ready, we didn’t check until after 5pm, cleaning was rushed they cleared the trash out and it smelled better but the floors were dirty, kids feet were filthy walking around barefoot, the sofa (light tan) was a nice size but the cushions were stained/dirty and needed some tlc. My guest that slept on the sofa bed said they would rather sleep on the floor because it was so uncomfortable. Given that it was a holiday I would have hoped the property managers would had adequate help to make sure unit was available/clean on time Skip the pool, super small compared to others on the strip and freezing cold

Awesome stay!

The condo was clean and conveniently located, it was perfect for my wife and our parents. Don’t be concerned about the condo being on the 16th floor. The elevators are quite quick and there was minimal wait, unlike other high-rise condos we’ve stayed in. The condo was immaculately clean and overall well-stocked. We would stay again!

Nice open condo

The condo was nice and open. The booking, check in and check out process were all very easy. Love that it was pet friendly. Building was not too busy, elevators were always ready. The outside of the building was kept clean. Although the condo seemed clean I do feel like the linens needed to be refreshed/replaced. They didn’t seem like they were cleaned well. I also think the couch and throw pillows throughout needed to be cleaned. The master bedroom door does not lock and the light in the toilet of the master bathroom was not working. We didn’t complain about those few small things, we just worked around them. We would recommend this property and plan to stay here again.

Only issue was the cleanliness when we arrived. We did not report as we just cleaned it up ourselves since we didn’t want to mess with it. Other than that we had a great stay! Would definitely recommend!

Beautiful view!

Condo was very clean and had a fantastic view! The decor and furniture choice was absolutely amazing! Made us feel right at home! Very spacious! Managers were quick to respond for any problems! The jacuzzi jets didn’t work the entire stay. Hopefully that will be resolved before your booking. The condo had everything it needed and more! I gave 4 stars at the end because the night shift maintenance guy had such a bad attitude. Story time! Another mom and I were at the pool with our kids. She had 5, I had 4. The other mom of 5 had a nonverbal 3 year old(He uses sounds instead of words). Fireworks were being shot at the beach and all of the kids were so excited to see it from the pool. The 3 year old may have been squealing(I don’t know because I’m a mom too and didn’t pay much attention to the squealing). The maintenance guy who was potting a plant out by the pool at 8pm came over and asked me was that my kid screaming. I said, “I don’t think so. I’m not really sure what you are talking about.” He approached the other mother and told her that she needed to keep her child from screaming at the pool. I couldn’t believe it! A kid screaming at the pool? No way.(eye roll) That was so rude of him! Other instances with this same maintenance guy throughout the week happened-not of importance. That kid has a disability. That guy is obviously a miserable person. The 4 stars at the end is just because of the staff on the property, not for the condo! The stay was amazing!

ONE OF THE WORST PLACES IVE BEEN TO SO FARBIN PCB. THE PRICE WAS NOT WORTH IT AT ALL.

They where not Accommodating at all the host fee was almost 600 and they had so many rules. Never again will I go anywhere where realjoy is managing the property.

Spacious and comfortable

We were very impressed with the property location and the overall square footage of the condo. We had bed space for everyone and seating to accommodate all of us in the living room area as well. The gulf/beach was great and the balcony view was beautiful. The only issue I had, which may be a non-issue for some people, would be the supplies left were minimal. I feel that if you are paying for a week for several guests, there should be enough supplies to get you through that time. Each bathroom had about a half roll of tissue and no additional left and the paper towels were also mostly gone upon arrival. I understand not leaving laundry detergent or dishwasher tablets, but toiletries would have been nice to have.

Absolutely Beautiful!

Beautiful view from this condo in PCB. Condo was clean and spacious. Kitchen well stocked for making a few meals in. We had four adults and a 16 and 11-year-old. 16th floor so the view was fantastic, especially from the master bedroom. Large patio with Adirondack chairs for 6 - we sat out in the mornings drinking coffee. We were lucky to have quite a few beach days the it is just a short walk to the beach. There are beach chairs/umbrellas that can be rented but are not included with the condo. The outdoor pool was nice. Not huge but plenty big enough for this condo complex and my youngest swam a few times. Grandview East is not a huge condo complex compared to some others along the beach. It made a difference in the amount of people on the beach in front of the condo. It is walking distance to a few restaurants and bars. Many other places within driving distance and the fact that the parking was easy and accessible made leaving and coming back no problem. Our favorites were Pineapple Willy’s, Andy’s Flour Power Cafe (the best breakfast!) and Schooners. We had a wonderful week and I would recommend this condo! RealJoy vacations made it easy to access the property (no front desk they just send you the door codes) and answered any questions I had along the way.

Pre 4th of July Week

Property was good - always someone sweeping & cleaning the public areas. The location was really good - walk down the beach in the a.m. to Barefoot for breakfast and walk the other direction to Pineapple Willy's for lunch or supper. We had no problems or issues.

Pet fee is a hidden cost

Our vacation was interrupted by a RealJoy representative calling to assess a pet fee that was not disclosed in the final price when our trip was booked. The only reason she called and realized that her company erred in properly disclosing this cost was that someone nearby heard one of our dogs barking and called to complain. It’s irritating enough striking a balance between calming our dogs because there are people that hate pets nearby and slam doors (which is likely what upset them in the first place) and then having to deal with RealJoy’s incompetence. I told the representative that I wanted to talk to her manager when we returned. She assured me that she would get him to contact me, but he never did. Now, instead of me leaving a five star raving review, I am leaving a negative one and we will certainly never book with this company again. The property itself was great and as described, but that was marred by RealJoy’s lack of honesty, communication, and not properly disclosing costs at the time of booking. We’ve taken our small dogs to many other properties, including other condos, hotels, and a cabin, and this has never happened before. This is how I know RealJoy is a poor company. Had this been a fluke, the manager would have contacted me as I directed and the representative assured me would happen. I hope that the pet fee was worth losing a lifetime of business. I will be telling my family and coworkers not to book here. I have now lowered the overall rating from 2 stars to 1 star for the further aggravation of needing to resubmit this due to “disclosing specific rate information.” We wouldn’t want any transparency for future customers, would we now? This is a terrible company.

Condo gorgeous with fabulous view but unless you can keep your pet silent do not carry them,!

Was not pet friendly, manager rude, left after one night when property manager beat on the door demanding we keep the dog quiet. Managing company didn’t let them know status had changed to pet friendly, then Refused to refund money. Will never use VBRO again and will never rent from anything RealJoy manages! Had to write 1 because 0 not available so the Accuracy on listing is really a 0 as well as the communication with the manager of the building and RealJoy the renting company. We felt like we were lied to, so if you rent from REALJOY make sure you buy the cancellation insurance because section 6 on the contract states NO REFUND, NO EXCEPTIONS!! OUR VACATION WAS RUINED!!!!
