The condo itself was in a great location, the end room balcony is beautiful and the multiple pools and hot tub was a huge hit for the family. However there were some problems beginning the first day, when we couldn’t find the “laid out” parking passes and the parking garage attendant haggled us about not belonging there. A major reason we booked this place was for the balcony access from the master bedroom.. we got there and it was covered in grime and there was a sign on that door saying “door is under maintenance, do no open.”This was a huge disappointment from day one. Also when we arrived, the master bathroom had not been cleaned from the previous guest and there was hair on the shower walls. The “locked” closet doors in the condo were coming open randomly and scaring our kids. The kitchen sink sprayer got stuck and sprayed everywhere one day. And the gate code that was supposed to change, never did and kept giving us errors. Overall a good trip, but we would’ve chosen a better place.

The unit we stayed in was fine for the most part. Most things worked as they should. We washed all the dishes when we got there because the first cup taken out of the cabinet was dirty. Clear view of beach from balcony. No access to balcony from the bedroom as there was a sign on that balcony door saying it was in the process of being fixed. We were there 5 days and nobody came to fix it. So that amenity was advertised but not fulfilled. The sofa sleeper mattress was so worn out you could feel the springs. We had to go buy air mattresses. The other beds were comfortable. Water pressure in the showers is excellent. The pool and hot tub were great until people started throwing drinks from their balcony. When I called Southern Vacation Rentals (the host), I was told they did not have a number for security, but they would call the property manager. We walked around the pool, hot tub, and sauna area looking for a number to call. When we left the pool to ho back to our room for safety, we saw the number for security posted in the elevator. The host needs to update their information to have this available and the property should have this number posted more frequently around the property. There were also incidents of unsupervised teens in the parking garage at 3am wandering around. So make sure your items are locked up.

The main thing is we wish we could've checked in earlier. I asked when we booked and no response and the cleaning person said they come when they are called, so sounded like they could've gotten there earlier. Other issue was the hot tub was dirty the whole time there and it had major foaming when jets on. We have a hot tub at home and there's an anti foam agent used for that and it clears it up instantly. Everything else was good. Did notice a couple things broken. The door when you come in to the right is a folding door. It was broken. The mesh chair on the balcony is torn. Probably dry rotting

The beach view was unobstructed but the bedroom seal of the door/window to the beach was compromised so it was cloudy. Southern Management had posted not to use as it was being replaced. Skimpy on glasses and silverware and door to washer/dryer was off track. All reported to Southern. Hope they have been addressed. A vacuum would have been nice. I did enjoy my stay there.

Condo was outdated, and the matress could use an upgrade, parking passes were not provided the day we arri ed and theybhad us searching all over the condo to find them, even told us to look under bed, we had just arrived after 10 hr drive who wants to go on a scavenger hunt? Cobdo could use some cooking sheets, and more utensils. But with all that being said, Rental company was very prompt to answer all my questions, and the view was amazing. The condo not being updated didn't prevent us from having a good time.

There is a code needed for the indoor spa and restrooms down by pool but the code was never given to us for it. We had to ask other guests.

Property was nice. We enjoyed our short stay and wish we had more time to stay longer. Would definitely stay at this property again. I would however suggest the exercise room access code be provided as well as the code to the gate leading to the beach. We had to ask an employee for exercise room code and another guest for the beach access code.

The elevators were working half the time, the tub in the master wouldn't drain, the parking passes were not anywhere that was listed in check in process, codes to all places were not given, a random man came into our room middle of the day to check and make sure an interior door was locked?!???

The listing on VRBO said that loungers and an umbrella on the beach were provided an attendant would set them up and tear everything down and once we tried to do that, they said we as in our condo was not on the list so we had to deal with that every day we were there, because there was different attendance taking care of the chairs and umbrellas other than that we had a great experience
