The biggest issue was waiting on an Elevator as 1 was down for Maintenance in the side of the Building where we stayed. The property itself was beautiful & convenient. I would suggest maybe putting grab bars in the step-in Shower as my Husband had 2 Strokes last year & he was able to get into the Shower easily, but his balance is off so a grab bar would have been nice.

I booked this condo based on the glowing online reviews and impressive photos, but the reality could not have been more different. Upon arrival, the water was completely shut off and remained off for nearly an hour. Once inside, it was clear the unit had not been cleaned properly: hair in the bathroom, sand on the living room floor, chips on the pull-out sofa, and dirty sheets in the master bedroom — including a pillowcase with blood stains. The second bedroom was unbearably hot, and if it weren’t for an old, beat-up box fan someone else had left behind, the master bedroom would have been just as uncomfortable.The resort itself was even worse. When checking in, I waited over an hour just to receive a parking pass and wristbands, partly because staff were rarely at their posts. When they did appear, they were rude and unprofessional, acting as if guests were an inconvenience. Half of the elevators were out of service, and the ones that worked were painfully slow. Security threatened to tow my car from temporary parking while I was attempting to check in, and when I tried to explain, I was told it “wasn’t their problem.” Unfortunately, this attitude was consistent at check-out as well.We ended up switching resorts and had a far better experience elsewhere. I cannot recommend this property — it is misleadingly advertised, poorly maintained, and staffed by people who clearly do not value guests.

The condo was nice enough, however there was not enough linen for the pull out bed! Only a top sheet, also I have never had to pay for extra towels or dish towels
 not enough. Only 5 people! This was a very hot week however the AC even at night did not cool the condo off. Not hot just so so.Were do I begin about the elevator situation it was HORRIBLE
 unimaginable!! I have stayed my entire life in a condo on the beach and this will be our last!! We will either rent a duplex or a house and if cannot afford it we will stay home!! It was that bad! Only half of the elevators were working at any given time. Which made the daily beach hawl terrible and everyone was nice but cranky! Getting ready to load the car the night before we ran into I can only call her “ the keeper of the Carts”!! She or no one else was there checking or wanting to keep our ID’s upon arrival. We did not have ours on us as we had just come up from the beach. We were not allowed a cart! This made loading the cars a challenge
 not appropriate or appreciated as this was not the policy upon check in or any other time during the week, and we unaware we would need them for a cart this particular day. There seems to be a lot that needs to be addressed at Tidewater!! Not our favorite and we will never stay there again!! We love Panama City Beach however it will not be there!

October Escape 2024

Overall our stay was very nice. The addition fees at check in was disappointing though. We did manage to work around the dryer not working and the television in master bedroom wouldn’t turn on. The elevator debacle was ridiculous. But the actual room was clean, well decorated and furnished. It was spacious and accommodating to our needs. The only thing that would prevent us from returning is the unacceptable elevator conditions and extra check in fees (the principle).

The elevator situation is definitely not ideal; however, the place was very nice and newly renovated! The condo was perfect for our family of 3 and my mother. It had a great ocean view! We really enjoyed our stay!

Where do I begin
..

FIRST and FOREMOST the wait time for the elevators is ridiculous!! I understand there are 30 floors, HOWEVER, 30-40 minutes is inexcusable!! SECOND would be how unfriendly the staff were!!! THIRD would be the luggage carts
. Having to give your drivers license to be held until the cart was returned is a little much. Mainly because some they required to do so and some (kids included who were in front of us) did not have to. FOURTH would be the rudeness of the store by the west pool where we purchased drinks and ice cream from. We were treated as an inconvenience but they were sure happy to take $40 for ice cream. SIXTH we went to get the luggage cart at 9:30 in order to be out of our room by checkout We will NEVER stay at this condo again nor will we recommend it to anyone. Very disappointed with our stay.

Memorial Day beach vacation

The tidewater elevator is always a problem on the weekend. The room makes up for it though. The room is gorgeous, spacious, and comfortable. The view from the master bedroom and balcony is stunning. The beach chairs was a nice bonus.

Family vacation

My family and I stayed here the first week of July 2023. It was very clean and spacious for the whole family. The early check in was great and saved us time. We loved the view of the ocean from the balcony and the condo was decorated to make you feel like you were at home. Great property

So we stayed from May 25th-29th, and the room was great!! The only complaints we had was the first bedroom. In that room the air conditioning wasn't blowing, and the ceiling fan shook when it was on high. Luckily we had our own fan with us, so the kids weren't miserable. Everything else worked great, and was really nice!! There were cobwebs on the lamps, but that wouldn't keep us from staying again. This condo is located at Tidewater, so just know the elevators are HORRIBLE, but that isn't the owners fault. We really enjoyed our stay, and we will be back!!

GREYT STAY

The unit was well-stocked and everything we needed was right there. We were initially concerned about having to wear a bracelet the whole time we were there, but it worked well, and we realized that it was a security idea. If we come back. we would definitely rent there again.
