Beach front room! The beds were AMAZINGLY COMFORTABLE! We had everything we needed, but we also never need much since most of our time is spent on the beach. Having two king beds was amazing!

Moldy/musty and creaky

I would not recommend this unit-run don't walk. Like previous reviews, the moldy/musty smell hits you hard when you walk in the door. We left the balcony door slightly ajar to be able to breathe. There was a section of mold that was black/brown in color on the floor behind the bed.The hood range exaust pipe isn't connected to anything and is behind a piece of wood in the cabinet above the stove and it constantly sets off the smoke detector since the pan in the stove does not appear to have been cleaned and smokes up - even though we were only heating up chicken fingers with no oil.The posts about the furniture being different than pictured on the VRBO webiste are true, as well as it being nasty and torn. There were posts about the refrigerator leaking, well...it still does. The mattresses are okay but both beds creak like crazy. You can't move without the other people in the condo knowing. Possibly the box springs, not sure but it ruins your sleep-and others sleep. Our feet were black just walking through the condo.The furniture is so old and bulky it was impossible for all of us to fit aroud the table - plus the fabric on several chairs is ripped. The post about the furniture being screwed together is also true. This condo needs a lot of updates and cleaning to warrant the cost. Extremely disappointed - will not book this unit again. If I could say anything positive it would be that the condo isn't as congested as others and you can move around.

Price should be a lot less for this place. The location was great. Pros: location, beach view, pool, beach, plenty of towels and the unit had cooking utensils, washer and dryer.Cons: unit smelled like a damp basement my allergies immediately started acting up within the first hour, floor was filthy
our feet were black before we finished unpacking, furniture in the listing was not the furniture in the condo, some furniture was held together with screws, refrigerator leaked, some towels were stained, boogers on the wall in the of the bathrooms, washer was dirty possibly mold in the washer seal, bed creaked terribly, the frame was also covered in dust, sofas were overly worn, hole in one, black lining hanging from one, living room tv didn’t work-so many remote controls but none near the tv they actually belonged to so it was a guessing game, bedroom light didn’t work correctly as it flickered often when we turned it on. The only comfortable bed was the bunk bed.I honestly feel like we wasted money on a place that should have been a lot better. Our group had several units at Gulf Crest. We will not be returning to this one next year.We sent an email regarding some of the issues and only received a response saying they notified maintenance.

Great location and view but...

Overall the place is good but....The couch is not the one pictured and is VERY old, ripped and the cushions have NO support.The tv in the living room did not work, so unless you want to snuggle in with your guests in their bed, don't plan on watching tv together in the living room. I called THREE times regarding the tv and no one came to fix it.The sinks in the master bathroom both leak all day and night. The bed in the master bedroom makes a horribly loud sound when getting in and out. The light in the bedroom flickers horrbily and sometimes comes on and sometimes doesn't.The water pressure in both bathroom showers is not the best, but that could be because you are on the 22nd floor. Not sure though for the sinks have great pressure.Overall it was clean ( although we came home with little ants all over all of our belongings) and a good place to stay, just some things could have been improved. It's also in a great location with a beautiful view.

We went into this trip with open eyes after reading all of the previous reviews because we wanted to stay at Gulf Crest again and have the 22nd floor view, which were both even better than we imagined. However, this unit needs a deep cleaning. Most of the condo looked like it was cleaned by fraternity boys. There was old dirt collected on every cabinet and most surfaces. The shower in the master bedroom was unusable because of the disgusting black mold all over the place. Also, the dishwasher was full of dishes that were mostly clean except for a couple of plates that were scary looking. Most of the towels also need to be replaced. As for positives, the washer and dryer worked great, the second bathroom shower was not too disgusting, the water pressure was great, the beds were above average for a rental unit, and the balcony furniture was great. We would only recommend this condo to someone else if it received a deep cleaning and a new coat of paint.

My husband daughter and her fiancee stayed at this unit...it was clean and spacious, even had beach toys, umbrella, chairs, etc. The kitchen was lacking on utensils, but a previous guest had bought plastic ware.

Location is great, balcony was the absolute best. Furniture, including mattresses weren't comfortable, very wore down. Definitely need to replace. The cleaning staff didn’t do a great job prior to our arrival either. We had to clean upon arrival. The dishwasher and dish rack also had mold on it. When you pay a cleaning fee when booking, you should not have to clean when you arrive. Our first day was spent cleaning the condo.

old and worn out

The property needs some update! The master bathroom was very old and worn out. the living room couch was dirty and worn out. All of the mattress needs replacing. Two of the TV remote batteries were dead. Really and truly the view was the best. Im sorry but I will not stay there again.

Great Vacation

We had a great, relaxing vacation-even even with the cool snap. Condo was clean, stocked and well appointed. Bed squeaked but was comfortable. The best thing was the view from the amazing balcony, watching the sea life is simply beautiful- schools of fish, dolphin pods playing, manta rays, we even spotted a shark in the distance. We'll be back in the spring!

Our stay

The furniture in the pictures of the living room has been changed. The door did not lock and the refrigerator leaked water in the kitchen floor. But with these things that I've listed we enjoyed our stay and would definitely rent this condo again.
