Bid-a-wee Beach boasts a pristine stretch of sugar white sand, which is only open to residents and guests of owners, ensuring a private and peaceful getaway.

Recently updated with new furnishings, bedding, and décor, Coral Cottage is a top-notch vacation home for all to enjoy. The living area offers breathtaking Gulf views from every window. The full-size kitchen boasts stainless steel appliances and is fully stocked, allowing you to prepare delicious meals while enjoying the stunning Gulf sunsets.

The private dining area features a coastal table and décor, creating the perfect ambiance for family and friends to gather and enjoy meals together. The master bedroom features a king size bed, a flat screen TV, and an ensuite bathroom with a walk-in shower. Great place to stay. Located just a few minutes to everything. There was an issue with the house lock not working and they were quick to respond. Would stay again.

The overall stay was not awful. The house is nice, but has a ton more potential than what's been put into it. Location was amazing. For a house across from the beach, it certainly was not beach ready. Nothing, and I mean nothing, provide for renters besides bed linens and a bath towel for 8 people. Sleeps up to 8, but only 5 forks available. While I understand that many people eat out, our family of 7 loves to enjoy our favorite meals while on vacation. The main reason for only 3 stars is because we were charged a very high cleaning fee. I am honestly not sure what was cleaned besides the linens and ran the dishwasher. I myself cleaned the return vent on the ceiling in the dining area as we have one family member that shouldn't breathe in dust. All three ceiling fans have a bit of dust on them. The bathrooms could've used a much better cleaning a the showers themselves had spots that were clearly not cleaned. The toilets were not cleaned on the outside as there was dirt, dust, and green marks on all three. Communicating via text, that person was very friendly. We ended up extending our check out by 3 hours and not needing it. We were also offered the opportunity to extend our trip since there was no one checking in after us.I do believe this rental has the opportunity to do much better for is renters. The rental fee charged is a good chunk of money to spend to be walking into a skeleton of a beach house that's not been proper cleaned.

Perfect beach getaway!

Check in was smooth and house was clean and ready on time. Although not directly on the beach, it still had amazing views and was just a couple minute walk to the water. The beds were too hard for our liking, but otherwise we had a wonderful stay!

Cockroaches infested house

Horrible!!!! The house door code and the beach code were not updated prior to our arrival, and we had to wait in front of the house for them to reset it. Cockroaches were crawling over our luggage and on our stuff left on the kitchen counter tops. The kids were horrified, and we barely slept. The house is in poor condition and even one of the door handles fell apart when we tried to open one of the back doors. Lots of holes in the walls. There was a big ridge, in the kitchen tile floor, that we tripped on many times. Even the toilet paper was not enough for our 5-night stay, one roll per bathroom. The so-called customer service ,Emerald Coast Destinations, was rude and not helpful. We ask for reimbursement for the inconveniences, they denied all of the issues, even with pictures emailed to them and to VRBO. They ask for approval to charge us an additional 4% convenience fee after booking the property through VRBO, which was nowhere stated when I booked it. I have been a long-time customer to VRBO and never had bad experience like this before. I would never ever recommend the Emerald Coast Destinations.
