Serious Safety Concerns During Our StayWe chose this home for a family vacation, but unfortunately our experience was significantly disrupted by a major safety issue. During our stay, an unauthorized individual entered the property twice in the middle of the night while my family was sleeping. This was extremely frightening and caused us to feel unsafe for the remainder of the trip.After the first incident, we checked every floor and ensured all doors were locked. Despite this, the same individual entered again less than an hour later through another sliding door. The responding deputies described the person as someone they have encountered before in the area. The situation left our family on edge and unable to rest or enjoy the remainder of our vacation.We later learned from a previous guest review that the property had known issues with faulty locks on certain sliding doors. During our stay, a maintenance technician was sent out to reinforce the locks and secure the gate, which suggests these concerns were ongoing.While the home itself has attractive features, the lack of secure doors made us feel vulnerable, and the experience overshadowed what should have been a relaxing getaway. I hope this review encourages future attention to guest safety and ensures that all entry points are fully secured.
