Lending a bit of elegant Cape Cod style to the breathtaking shores of the Emerald Coast, Beach Bear Cottage sits cradled in the luxurious yet laid-back 30A neighborhood of Watersound. With 5 relaxing bedrooms, a private pool, and multiple living spaces, families and groups of friends will love how Beach Bear Cottage keeps them close together, yet provides plenty of space to spread out, too. Guests of Watersound have private beach access, too.

When you arrive at Beach Bear Cottage, the clapboard siding, crisp white trim, tropical landscaping, and nautical-inspired oval accent windows provide a welcoming and unmistakable coastal charm. Once inside, the main level great room is vast, bright, and wide open. The high ceilings have a lovely tray detail and the large sun-kissed windows fill the space with sunshine. Two sofas are piled high with pillows along with two sitting chairs to provide ample seating for everyone.

Also on the first floor is the professional-chef-worthy kitchen. A giant island is filled with storage space and has seating for four and a farmhouse sink. The beautiful cabinets are double-stacked to the ceiling and topped with gorgeous slabs of patterned quartz. High-end appliances include a signature Wolf gas range with a pot-filler, a microwave, a dishwasher, and a paneled refrigerator. A large dining table for eight provides for great seating to enjoy a wonderful meal or hold a family game night.

The first of five serene bedrooms is on the main floor and includes a plush king-size bed, HDTV, and an ensuite bathroom with a double vanity and step-in shower.

On the second level are the four additional bedrooms— as well as another living area and a laundry room. The second bedroom has a bunk with 2 queen-size beds and the third bedroom has a king-size bed. These two bedrooms share a jack-and-jill style bathroom with double vanity and step-in shower. The fourth bedroom has two twin-size bunk beds and an amazing second living area with an HDTV and great seating, making it a perfect place for kids to hang out. The fifth and final bedroom is the primary suite— with a sumptuous, four-poster, king-size bed and flatscreen HDTV. The ensuite primary bathroom includes a freestanding tub, glass-enclosed shower, double vanity and large closet.

From the second level, you can also climb the stairs to the soaring third-floor lookout space with views of the gorgeous Watersound community and the turquoise waters of the Gulf of Mexico. This spot was built for sipping a cocktail while watching a sherbert-colored sunset light up the sky above you.

Back on the main level, a screened-in porch sits just off the great room and provides another comfortable spot to kick off your flip-flops and read a book or watch a little TV. There’s a built-in outdoor grill and dining space out here too. This leads out to the sparkling private swimming pool. A soothing waterfall feature adds a lovely ambiance.
