Stunning Sunrise Park Mid Mod.
A classic 1950s Mid Century home designed by Jack Meiselman located in the beautiful Sunrise Park neighborhood. The Leo House is minutes from the Palm Springs airport and just over a mile away from downtown Palm Springs, art galleries, restaurants, shopping boutiques and more. The home is ideally situated near several grocery stores, restaurants and coffee shops.
You will have 24 hour access to your Hosts, Walt and Mike. We can be reached via Airbnb messaging, text, email or you can just give us a call. Contact information is provided prior to your arrival and can also be found in the digital house guide.
The entire property is yours to enjoy! Please note we have two closets and a shed that houses supplies and will be locked during your stay.
Welcome to The Leo House!
The Home
Located on a quiet side street featuring a beautifully landscaped and private backyard. The house features an open concept living room (with gas fireplace), dining and kitchen area that overlook the pool and backyard. A separate and very spacious family room off the kitchen area is the perfect place to enjoy movies, games and late night conversations (it is on the opposite side of the house from the bedrooms).
A well-equipped kitchen for all your cooking needs includes dishes, pots, appliances and more to create a wonderful cooking and dining experience. Salt, pepper and oil to start you off on your culinary adventures.
The Leo House has 3 bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people:
#1 Primary bedroom: Top quality king mattress with pillow top pad, 45" Samsung Frame TV, darkening shade, dresser, full closet with hanging shelves, hangars and two 100% cotton robes. The en-suite bathroom features shower / bathtub combo with hair dryer and Public Goods shampoo, conditioner and body wash. Bathroom features a door to the backyard for easy access to the pool. Bedroom has a beautiful sliding glass door for direct access to the pool and hot tub.
#2 Yellow bedroom: Top quality king mattress with pillow top pad, full closet with hanging shelves, hangars and two 100% cotton robes. Direct access to the guest bathroom. Beautiful sliding glass door leads you to a private patio.
#3 Blue bedroom: Two top quality twin mattresses with pillow top pads, dresser, full closet with hanging shelves, hangars and two 100% cotton robes. The closet in this bedroom also has two pack'n-plays, high chair (for kitchen) and ample kids' books and toys for guests with young children.
The Guest bathroom is located off the hallway between the Yellow and Blue bedrooms. The bathroom features a stand-up shower with hair dryer and Public goods shampoo, conditioner and body wash.
Outdoor
Take in the beautiful Palm Springs sunsets by the outdoor fire pit or the heated spa. Enjoy grilling on the outdoor Weber barbeque and dine al fresco with a view of the San Jacinto Mountains. A spacious and verdant yard to lounge by the pool, take in the views, ping pong table, corn hole and several outdoor seating areas on all three sides of the house and backyard.
Other
Tesla EV charger along with Spectrum high speed WiFi for all your streaming needs. Two Sonos speakers in the TV / family room and one Sonos speaker in the living room.
This property has the option of a pool safety fence. Ideal for families traveling with young children. An additional fee will apply to install this feature and must be requested a minimum of 3 days prior to your stay to allow time for setup. Please message your host prior to or at the time of booking if you would like this amenity. Fee = $150 per stay
Optional Pool Heating is available October - April
Fee = $75 per night (3 night minimum)
For safety and security, there are (3) cameras on the property. The doorbell cam is used for check-ins and deliveries. The cams at the front and left side of the house face away from the home and only monitor the street.
The Kitchen has optional on/off child safety locks on all bottom cabinets for guests with young children.
Sorry, no animals (dogs, cats, etc) allowed on property. Service dogs welcome.
**By City of Palm Springs Ordinance, the following are required to rent a short term rental in the city:
1. Primary renter must be at least 25 years of age.
2. Primary renter must provide a copy of his/her government issued I.D. prior to check-in. A copy of I.D. is kept on file while guest is at property and will be shared with Vacation Rental Compliance Officials on demand as required by law.
3. Responsible party (primary renter) is required to sign a short term rental agreement(contract).
4. All guests are required to print and sign names to City of Palm Springs confirmation that Good Neighbor Brochure has been read and understood by all adult occupants (this will be emailed with the rental agreement).
5. No more than 2 adults per bedroom (6 max) are allowed to occupy the home overnight with 2 additional guests allowed during daytime hours. An additional 2 children under the age of 12 are allowed per rental.
6. No more than 1 car per bedroom are allowed to be parked at the house overnight with 1 additional car allowed during daytime hours. (3 cars max)
7. Trash must be kept in the provided receptacle out of public view.
8. Service dogs are to be kept on a leash at all times when not in the home or in the confined space of the property. Service Dogs are to be kept from barking. A consistently barking dog is considered a nuisance.
9. Outdoor music is prohibited 24 hours per day. It is further expected that noise created at the home will not be audible beyond the property line. Quiet time is between 10pm and 10am.
**These rules are set forth by City Ordinance and apply to ALL rentals in the City of Palm Springs. They are intended to help create peaceful neighborhoods in which rentals exist.
