Located in the historical Ocotillo Lodge, our colorful, stunning unit is distinguished by its large private patio and open layout. Whimsical details & elements have been added to complement the surrounding desert landscape. This completely renovated unit at the Ocotillo Lodge retains many of the original architectural elements designed by architects Palmer and Krisel. Our one-bedroom bungalow has endless natural light coming through floor-to-ceiling windows/sliding glass doors in all primary spaces. You get a chance to truly enjoy the best of indoor/outdoor living, as the large private patio beckons you to cook and enjoy meals al-fresco, prepared on your own grill.

The stylish bungalow decor has Boho inspiration and mixes period-appropriate furniture and art with chic colors & rich textures. Both living room and bedrooms have direct access to the patio. Meticulous details & accents bring the outdoor elements indoors, evoking a seamless experience of the soothing, natural surroundings for which Palm Springs is known.

Our bedroom features a plush king-sized bed and calming tones that will give you that perfect night`s sleep. The bedroom offers easy access to the oversized bathroom, featuring double-sinks and glass-enclosed shower. There`s also a full-size sofa bed in the living room. The kitchen is fully stocked, and opens out to a dining/bar area. Once you step outside of the unit, the large swimming pool and spa are both just steps from your door.

Originally built in 1956 by famed architects Palmer and Krisel for the Alexander Company, the Ocotillo Lodge started out as a hotel and is one of Palm Springs` most stunning mid-century gems. As a guest, you will have full access to the facilities, including the famous champagne cork-shaped pool, two hot tubs, outdoor sunshine bar, gym in the historic clubhouse, and lush desert landscaping originally designed by Garrett Eckbo. You`ll feel like one of the many celebrities who have frequented this famous hangout spot over the years.

Ours is truly a special unit, located in one of the best examples of mid-century architecture that Palm Springs has to offer. We can’t wait to share our little slice of Palm Springs Modernism heaven with you!

You’re renting the entire bungalow and patio area. Make yourself at home, as everything is yours to enjoy exclusively!

Our property is professionally managed by a full service vacation rental agency, so your trip will be worry-free from beginning to end. We will take care of everything from hosted check-in to departure, and will be available for anything you need along the way. We are also available to handle any special or a-la-carte requests, including pre-arrival grocery shopping and arrangement of transportation and/or tours.
CITY OF PALM SPRINGS REGULATIONS & RENTAL RULES
(we don`t make the rules, but we do follow them!)

**No parties or large social gatherings of any kind are permitted at this location!**
Neighbors have been notified that this property is a vacation rental and are encouraged to call a hotline to dispatch authorities to investigate any disturbances. If the city issues a violation, guest will be responsible for payment of any fine(s) and may be evicted with no refund.

- Minimum age for primary renting guest is 25.
- Daytime occupancy is 6 people.
-Overnight occupancy is 2 people.
- Maximum of 1 vehicles allowed. Please utilize driveway parking before using street parking.
- The City imposes a strict noise ordinance for vacation rentals. No music is allowed outside at any time, including music coming from inside that can be heard at the property line, and no noise at all is allowed outside after 10pm.
- The City requires a signed written contract for all guests, as well as a copy of the primary renter`s government ID. This will be taken care of during check-in.
- The City requires each guest to pay an 11.5% Transient Occupancy Tax and a 1% Tourism Business Improvement District assessment for stays less than 28 days. If your stay is 28 days or more, taxes do not need to be paid.

ARRIVAL/DEPARTURE
- Check-in time is 4PM, and check-out is promptly by 11AM.
- Our onsite greeter will meet you at the home and give you a tour.
- Late check-outs without prior approval with incur a $250 fee, as we need time to get the house ready for the next guest.

PETS
- One pet is allowed (under 25 lbs), with a fee of $100. Pet must be approved and fee paid prior to check-in. Any signs of pets on the property without our knowledge will incur an additional $500 fee. Having more than one pet will be cause for eviction.

NO SMOKING
- The entire complex is a smoke-free property. Any signs of smoking in the unit or on the patio will incur an additional $250 fee.

CLEANING
The final cleaning after your checkout is included in your reservation quote. For stays longer than 6 weeks, guest will be responsible for the cost of a mid-stay clean every 30 days. Fund will be collected from guest as mid-stay cleanings occur.

INSURANCE FEE for Vrbo & Direct Bookings (does not apply to Airbnb bookings)
Guest is responsible for the service fee below, depending on length of stay:
● $99: 1-29 nights
● $450: 30-59 nights
● $150: each additional 30-night block

Great place in a great location

This condo was the perfect size with a usable kitchen, outdoor space with a bbq. Bed was very comfortable and the bathroom was nice. Ocotillo lodge has a huge pool and it never got crowded while we were there. Location-wise, this place is close to everything in Palm Springs. Hosts were friendly and provided all the info we needed. I’d definitely stay here again.

Excellent experience at a charming mid-century lodge

This property is a Beautifully remodeled-yet-preserved spacious 1 BR with a private patio. The photos tell the story. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would stay here again. Light sleepers should be aware that the unit upstairs doesn’t have very soundproof flooring, and that the unit is near a busy road with occasional tragic noise. The property doesn’t have anything resembling a modern fitness center, despite what the listing says. Two tips for the property managers: Most guests expect facial tissue to be provided, and for guests who like to cook, having more than one kitchen towel would be convenient.

Perfect spot for a girls getaway!

We have stayed at Ocotillo Lodge several times, and this unit did not disappoint! We loved the decor - so many cute details & unique pieces, and loved there was an extra touch for Halloween! The suite was very clean and had everything we needed for our stay. The grounds & the pool at the lodge continue to be beautifully maintained and a great place to sit to soak up the sun. We were there to celebrate a girls getaway (my mom, my sister & myself) and it was the perfect vibe for a fun & relaxing 5 days!
