This two-bedroom cottage in Padstow is the ideal base for a couple, or a small family, looking to enjoy coastal walks, seafood restaurants, and water-based activities.
A sense of comfort sweeps through the ground floor with whitewashed walls and blue tones creating a soothing atmosphere. After a dayâs activities, the lounge is a relaxing space with a comfortable sofa that invite you to kick-back and watch a film on the Smart TV. When mealtimes beckon, step through to the well-equipped kitchen and prepare delicious meals that can be served at the table with seating for four people. From the living area, stairs lead to the first floor where two bedrooms are located. Featuring a king-size bed and twin beds, the rooms are unfussy and awash with natural light. Thereâs also a pristine shower room on this floor. Back on ground level, the patio table is the perfect spot for a quiet coffee. Overlooking a small garden, itâs a tranquil place to sit and bask in the sun.
Padstow is a vibrant town with plenty of independent shops, cafes, and restaurants. It also has a working harbour, coastal paths, and sandy beaches nearby. Keen walkers can explore the coastline on foot with the South West Coast Path less than 1 mile from the doorstep. Alternatively, hire bicycles and take a ride along the scenic Camel Trail. For a day at the beach, take the foot ferry to Rock (1.5 miles) and spend the day swimming, sailing, or kayaking. Also worth a visit is Prideaux Place, an Elizabethan manor house (0.5 miles) packed with antiques and memorabilia. Afterwards, be sure to stroll through its beautiful gardens and deer park.
