The Retreat-Brand New 5 Bedroom Custom Home-Mt. Rainier - Hot Tub

Welcome to the Tatoosh Peak Retreat! Our brand new custom home was completed in 2022, and we look forward to sharing it with you. The house is located in a small private community adjacent to the Cowlitz River. We are located 8 mins from town and less than 30 mins from White Pass and Rainer National Forest.

This home has everything you'll need for the entire family; internet, hot tub, large open living area, covered patio W/outdoor fireplace, and plenty of games to keep busy on rainy days.

Great place, great location

My family was a large group of about 11 and the place held us all comfortably. We had plenty of room and everything was perfect. The home was newer and we had literally zero issues with anything.Beautiful location; we spent a lot of time in Mount Rainier National Park so the location was as good as it could get. Packwood isn’t huge, but had the basics we needed with the grocery store and several restaurants to choose from when we didn’t feel like cooking. Will definitely look this place up again when and if we go for another mountain vacation.

Had a great time.

It was a great place for our family gathering around Christmas. Great neighborhood for walks and 20 min from white pass. All of the kids loved their rooms. Open floor plan was great for hanging out with the family.

Relaxing Retreat

Enjoyed a weekend of skiing at White Pass with relaxed evenings at this property spent sitting in the hot tub while watching movies, dinners around the kitchen island, lounging in front of the fireplace and playing games in the bonus room and garage. Home owner was very communicative and even let us get into the house a little early with some of the littles in our party not wanting to be at the mountain all day. Would definitely return to this property.

Beautiful new custom home.

Great location near Mt Rainier. We appreciated very much this new modern home with hot tub, outdoor fireplace/sitting area and "man cave" in the garage. Great place to relax after long day in the mountains. We would love to stay there longer in the future.

Mt Rainier day hikers

We are a group of 10 woman that take hiking vacations together. This house was lovely with convenient access to the park. The owner was very responsive to any questions we had. The kitchen is super nice and the hot tub is great. The one down side for our large group was having only two bathrooms was inconvenient in the mornings and after hiking when everyone wanted showers.

Beautiful home near Mount Rainier

This home is gorgeous and was perfect for our stay! The house was beautifully decorated and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was plenty of room for the 6 of us. The backyard outdoor living space and hot tub was an added bonus after a long day of hiking. Cyle was very responsive to all of my messages and check in and out was easy. The town of Packwood was close for our groceries and daily stop at the coffee shop. Thanks so much and we look forward to returning to Packwood in the future.

Great place in the magnificent mountains of Washington

Small but quaint town of Packwood, amenities are there but limited, don’t think you’ll be running to Wal Mart for supplies, but there is a market in town. Our trip to Mount Rainier was breathtaking. We live in the mountains of Virginia and our trees look like bushes compared to there, be prepared to be impressed. The house offered all the amenities you could ask for, better than most would have at home. The outdoor area was our favorite, with a great fireplace and seating area. We didn’t bbq but it was available. Nice hot tub that some really enjoyed. The rest of the backyard could use a little TLC but it looked liked something they just haven’t gotten to. Fantastic trip we would definitely recommend and book again. ENJOY!

Everything about this home was fabulous. Very well designed, and all the details very well thought out. The kitchen was well stocked and we loved all the amenities. The beds are very, very soft though. But very cozy. Thanks for a great stay!

Retreat in the Woods

We had a truly exceptional experience staying at this beautiful modern retreat. Very roomy and spacious. The welcome book had some information that was hard to understand, such as the hike guide. It mentioned with an Apple device something will pop up to download but we couldn't figure it out. Beds were very soft, like you are sleeping in a clouds and the bathrooms were amply stocked with towels, TP, Kirkland bath products and hair dryer. The hot tub was a great amenity with separately designated towels. The outdoor fireplace didn't work for us, but the owner messaged us where some additional wood is stored. The garage had darts and ping pong table where we had many hours of fun! Kitchen had everything that we needed for our trip. I would highly recommend this place!

Great place for family reunion

It was clean, fresh and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. Lots of entertainment options for the kids. Good location—just a short walk to the river and 10 min drive to gas, coffee, and grocery. About equidistant from Sunrise and Paradise parks. Great place for our family reunion of 12 with ages ranging from 3-73!

Amazing Property
