This Guest Suite was fully renovated in 2016. Mostly new furnishings, and all new appliances are featured in this cozy space. The deck offers clear views of Mussel Ridge channel and Ash Islands - perfect to enjoy a cup of coffee or cocktails at night.Â
Owls Head is a popular destination for Maine visitors and seasonal residents. With many beaches to choose from, the proximity to Rockland and Thomaston, and gorgeous views from almost any point on the peninsula, Owls Head remains a desirable location for our guests. This property is a great addition to our other properties, for an individual, or couple, looking to be in close proximity to the rest of their group, for more space, or with greater privacy.Â
This is a one bedroom property that can accommodate a maximum of 2 adults. The owner will allow an additional child if they are in a pack 'n' play or crib. Please note there is only one bedroom and one bed.
Note: This is a second story unit above a garage, belonging to a larger cottage on site. The unit shares a driveway with said cottage. Photos show the proximity of the other cottage.
BEACH CLASSIFICATION: We have categorized this property as having or being near a sandy beach. More specifically for this property - it is a 1 mile walk to publicly accessible Crescent Beach. Two other great area beaches are nearby. The closest is Crockett's Beach, but also Birch Point Beach State Park is within a 5 minute drive of the property. There is not an actual usable sandy beach at this property, but the nearby beaches are great for kids and that is why we have classified it as being on or in this case - "near" sandy beaches.
