Set at the end of a rural track this property offers a peaceful place to stay and a fantastic base from which to explore the area.. 6 steps to entrance.

Ground Floor:

First Floor:

Bedroom: Kingsize (5ft) Bed Ensuite: Bath, Toilet. Oil central heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and Wi-Fi included. Initial logs for wood burner included.. Lawned garden with sitting-out area and garden furniture. 2 dogs welcome to be kept on a lead at all times (sheep country). Private parking for 2 cars. No smoking. Please note: The property has a natural water supply.. Located in a peaceful and tranquil setting overlooking the local countryside and ideal for birdwatching, this well-proportioned, detached holiday property with a large garden, provides comfortable accommodation for those wishing to explore the delights of Mid Wales, North Wales, Chester and the Shropshire borders. With its wonderful rural surroundings and views over the hills and river valley, the property offers the perfect location for nature lovers and those who enjoy going for long walks. The property is detached and includes a living area with Smart TV. The kitchen/dining area is well-equipped with electric cooker and hob, fridge and microwave. There are bi-fold doors from the kitchen which lead out onto the patio area. Narrow stairs lead to the first floor which has one bedroom with a kingsize bed and five steps which lead to the en-suite bathroom.

Guests can visit Park Hall, Powys Castle, Erddig, Chirk Castle, nearby Llangollen with white water rafting, horse drawn canal barges, Lake Vyrnwy and steam railways, both at Llangollen and at Welshpool. The historic city of Chester is an easy drive, and one of the seven wonders of Wales, Llanrhaedr waterfalls is within a 15-minute drive.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location.

A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. If you are looking to get away from the stress of everyday life this is the place to be. Morning coffee sat on the terrace, just admiring the views, and watching all the wildlife around you. Foxes, rabbits, red kites, falcons, and that is not mentioning the variety of other birds that come to visit. Amazing

We had such a lovely week at Pentre Cwm Bach. The cottage is wonderfully different from so many holiday places. The owners are so friendly and helpful, the bird life is amazing and the cottage is a really comfortable base for exploring a beautiful area.

First class views of wonderful countryside, quiet and plenty of wildlife.

First class views of wonderful countryside, quiet and plenty of wildlife. We had a fantastic time and the locals are all very nice and helpful. If you want a nice quiet retreat to recharge your energy this is a great place to do that. The village has a nice pub and Oswestry is not far if you need supplies or takeaway's. We will be back for sure, thanks to the owners for their help and easy instructions.

We had a lovely stay at this small but perfect cottage.

We had a lovely stay at this small but perfect cottage. It made a wonderful mile stone birthday treat/retreat. The views looking out from the cottage are just incredible. We found it hard to venture anywhere, especially in the heatwave we had over the first few days. We and our two small fur companions felt instantly at home. We have booked a second visit and can't wait to return in the spring. The Wynnstay Inn, within walking distance, is very friendly + dog friendly and serves delicious food, with dog biscuits for our dogs too. Everyone was so very friendly. We visited Bishops Castle and Ludlow on the way home. Both wonderful! Thanks so much for a lovely, much needed break.
