Cachette dans les bois

Une terre à la terre 4 chambres, 2 salles de bain maison nichée dans les bois qui dispose de 2 grandes salles de réunion (une salle de théùtre) et un immense porche couvert. Il y a une cuisine complÚte et deux salles à manger séparées. Nous avons également une salle de jeux / lieu de rencontre externe dans notre grande grange rouge appelée Hideout Saloon.

La partie principale de la maison a été construite par mon grand-pÚre en 1946.

Les garnitures autour des portes et des fenĂȘtres sont toutes fabriquĂ©es Ă  partir de vieux pin qu’il avait Ă©conomisĂ© dans les annĂ©es 1950.

Nous avons l'air central et la chaleur.

Il y a un anneau de feu de 4 pieds parfait pour cuisiner, faire des s'mores ou simplement vous détendre.
Il y a une laveuse et une sécheuse pour votre usage.

Nous avons un barbecue au charbon de bois que vous pouvez utiliser ... apportez votre propre charbon de bois et votre liquide de départ.

Il y a un chauffe-eau sans réservoir afin que vous puissiez prendre des douches dos à dos. Désolé pas de baignoire.

Venez vous détendre et vous détendre. La plage de sable est à seulement un kilomÚtre et le reste de la ville.

Le bois de chauffage est disponible Ă  utiliser s'il est dans le hangar. Sinon, un homme en bas de la route qui se dirige vers la riviĂšre vend une brouette pour 10 dollars.

Le Hideout Saloon est maintenant ouvert et équipé d'une table de billard, d'un jeu de fléchettes, d'un baby-foot, d'une sonorisation, d'un piano joueur et d'un bar sur mesure. Assurez-vous de commander les photos. Veuillez noter que le Hideout Saloon est à votre disposition, mais veuillez ne pas nous évaluer sur sa propreté, car il vit dans les bois dans une ancienne grange à pÎles.
Lors de votre sĂ©jour dans cette maison de vacances, vous ne serez qu'Ă  quelques minutes de marche de ForĂȘts nationales Huron-Manistee. Hideout in the woods is great. Steve is great and responds quickly to any questions. This is our second time staying. Great place for our large group of friends for our winter trip. We enjoyed hanging out in the barn playing pool, darts and foosball. The propane heaters were very helpful.

This place was tucked into the woods, but was such a great location and close to town. Very private. I stayed there with family while in town for a wedding. We had plenty of room. Communication with the host was easy and smooth. We would definitely stay again.

Great place for a big family

We literally utilized every amenity, from the house to the movie room, to the lovely front porch and fire ring, we had steak dinner on the fire pit grill and the hideout salloon was a total blast! We played all the games danced for hours. We most definitely will be back. Close to everything there is to do in Oscoda.

Great spot!

The host was very communicative, there were helpful notes posted around the house, the history is cool, and there was plenty of space for all of us. I really appreciate that we were all able to bring our dogs along. It was close to town and the beach but still felt a little secluded. The porch was amazing. The ONLY thing my family had to say was they wished the grass had been cut around the porch area since it's tick season (one tick found on the kid's shoulder). We also couldn't find any kitchen towels but might not have looked hard enough. Kitchen was pretty well stocked otherwise!

Great spot to get away

I really enjoyed my stay at the hideout in the woods. I was there for my brothers bachelor party, and we had a decent size group. The main house was super clean. It was the perfect size for all of us to get good nights sleep.The real star of the place was the barn that was converted into a mock saloon. There was pool, darts, fusball, and other games. The two propane heaters kept us warm in near freezing temperatures. We spent most of our time in there just having a good time. If you are looking for a secluded cabin with easy going entertainment, then this is the place for you

Perfect hideout!!

The house was very spacious, but we still spent most of our time on the covered front porch and yard. Plenty of room for our family to spread out if they chose. Plenty of the essentials are stocked (tp, shower supplies, etc). Very much appreciated

Secluded and Beautiful

This house is the perfect up north get away in the woods. Plenty of room, close to town, so much to do and plenty of room to spread out. The theater surround sound and saloon was fun for the kids and adults. The kitchen has all you need. The front porch was a perfect morning spot for coffee and we even had deer walk through the front yard. Plenty of room to park the boat and the beds were also very comfortable. The communication with the host was top notch. You won't be sorry if you book here!

Perfect short stay

My extended family and I were in the area for a wedding and needed a place that could house 6 adults and 7 kids ranging in age from 1-7. This was a great find and we loved utilizing the outdoor fire pit.

Great location and room for everyone and everything you need

A wonderful property with space for the whole family and then some! We enjoyed the bonus of the saloon and spent a great time playing the games in there. Absolutely loved the privacy of being in the woods and the trails get not far from stores and the towns. Comfortble beds and plenty of places to sit and relax.

Christmas in May

What a cozy, unique, & homey cabin in Northern Michigan. We spent this weekend with our niece's & nephews (12 of us) as a getaway Christmas Gift. This was our 1st time doing this & this will Not be the last time. This place was PERFECT for our weekend. Most all of us had never explored this part of Michigan and loved exploring. We saw scenic overviews & climbed dunes of the AuSable River, beach front of Lake Huron, and Huron-Manistee National Forests Lumberman's Monument, it was a Blast and the "Hideout in the woods" was in a ideal location for that! The cabin held us all Very comfortably, absolutely loved the dinner table that we ALL fit at. The theater room was a great place for games & entertainment. Scavenger hunt entertained & challenged the kids. Amazing fire pit ring we spent LOTS of time around. I can Not say enough about how fantastic Steve(the owner) was at fast responses to all of my Q's, and I had a lot of them as this was my 1st vrbo rental ever. My husband and the kids all raved about how comfortable the beds were & we all LOVED the hideout saloon. My only disappointment was how fast our time went. Everyone was already taking about "next year". Thank you, "Hideout in the woods" for being the place where we made unforgettable memories with our family, that are priceless!!

Cozy and convenient

Brought in the New Year around the fire ring and enjoyed games in the saloon. Bathrooms/Shower was nice. The location of the cabin to town was very convenient.

Yes you should stay here!

We had a great time relaxing in the woods! It was winter so we didn’t spend a lot of time outside. We did however use the saloon and play pool and foosball and darts! Inside it’s a charming cabin with 4 bedrooms. Cute little twin beds are slid into the wall in upstairs bedrooms creating sleeping places for more people. Huge table in main part of house for meals and board games. It’s quiet, no one bothers you and yet there’s a store a mile away if you need something. Host was also very easy to contact and ask questions. Nice little cabin in the woods in rural northern Michigan.
