Spend leisurely hours on the wrap-around porch, offering both covered and open areas to enjoy the outdoors, regardless of the weather. For experienced swimmers, the property offers direct access to the water, or you can stroll down to Lowell's Cove, a family-friendly beach with sandy and pebbly shores. Cast a line from the rocky coastline or watch the kids explore tide pools and gather shells. In the evenings, stargaze from the open deck and witness the moonrise over the sea from one of the many oceanfront rooms. Scan the waters for lobster boats and marine life as the day winds down. At night, retreat to one of the eight cozy bedrooms, including one on the first floor. Wake up the next morning to the sun rising over the water, ready to experience another day of seaside magic. However, it is important to remember that it is still a century old home. While the interior has been thoughtfully restored with pine wood and modern amenities, such as a dishwasher and on-demand hot water, it still retains the charm and character of a bygone era. Some aspects of the house are imperfect—such as slightly uneven floors and steeper steps in certain areas and raised thresholds that you wouldn’t typically find in a modern home. This unique Victorian property offers a step back in time, but it may not be suitable for everyone. We encourage guests to review the photos and carefully consider if this distinctive home is the right fit for you and your family before booking.

Pets are welcome at Kinsale (a non-refundable pet fee applies). More than one dog requires host permission.

Note for past guests- The once exposed studs are now covered in beautiful pine, the kitchen features new pine flooring, cabinets, and countertops, the bathrooms have been updated, exterior siding has been replaced, and new vinyl windows have been installed throughout.
