Vraiment une expérience de Northwoods, Cabin Lake!

Mise à l'eau privée avec beaucoup de places de stationnement à moins de 1/4 Mile Away. Voir les photos ci-jointes.

Propriété impeccablement entretenue et impeccablement propre avec tout le confort de la maison.

Pas d'araignées, souris, ou lapins de la poussière.

Eau courante chaude et froide, Quai privé, Électricité, Télévision, Signal de données de téléphone portable, Station de nettoyage de poisson avec eau courante, Laveuse à chargement frontal et sécheuse à vapeur LG, Réfrigérateur / congélateur, Chaleur sous contrôle thermostatique, Interphone de la cabine au quai, Amorce Bien et vivons bien fournis!

LOCATION DE BATEAU DISPONIBLE!

Acheté neuf en 2019: moteur hors-bord Suzuki 4 temps à injection de carburant de 20 HP avec démarrage électrique (sans étranglement ni mélange de gaz). Fonctionne sans plomb!), Bateau Alumacraft en aluminium avec coque en V de 16 pieds, remorque Shorelander (boule de remorquage de 2 po). Il est assis sur une remorque à la rampe de mise à l’eau. Vous devez lancer. Voir les photos!

Location de bateaux et de moteurs: 500 $ par semaine ou 80 $ par jour.

Beaucoup de profondeur de l'eau. L'eau est de 6 pieds de profondeur, au bout du quai.

IMPORTANT: Animaux à l'abri des ours et des loups! Ils ne nagent pas à l'île! Pas de tiques sur l'île, car il n'y a pas de cerfs.

*** Pas de service d'entretien. C'est une île. Quittez l'endroit comme vous le trouvez. Frais de ménage de 100 $ remboursés après le paiement, à condition que les clients suivants ne se plaignent pas de problèmes de ménage légitimes. Remboursements par Pay Pal, Venmo, Chèque ou Virement bancaire.
*** Apportez vos ordures avec vous. Le dépotoir est juste à l'extérieur de Cook.
*** Eau courante chaude et froide, comme à la maison. Ce n'est cependant pas potable. Trois cruches d'eau de 5 gallons sont sur le porche. S'il vous plaît laissez la place avec trois pichets à boire de 5 gallons. Ils sont 7 $ chez Walmart en Virginie.
*** Ramasser après votre animal de compagnie. Les déchets peuvent être enterrés à l'arrière de l'île avec les entrailles des poissons. Pelle fournie.
*** Chargeur de batterie et rallonge fournis.

Directions depuis Minneapolis et St. Paul:

I35N> Route 33N (à Cloquet)> Route 53N> Cook, MN> Tourner à droite sur la route 24 juste après le magasin d’alcool Cook.> Wilderness Way tourne à droite. (La vie de Riley Resort est trop loin.)> Tourner à droite sur le parking fermé et la rampe de mise à l'eau.

Un court trajet en voiture du casino Fortune Bay, du sanctuaire d'ours Vince Shute Bear et du parc d'État Tower Sudan Underground Mine. Le sentier de randonnée DNR Black Bay et le site de repas de midi sont situés à un quart de mile de l'île. La plage de baignade en sable publique du DNR Wake-Em-Up Campground est accessible en un court trajet en bateau.

Écoutez les loups, les hiboux et les plongeons dans cette région éloignée et sous-développée du lac Vermilion.
Lors de votre séjour dans cette cabane, vous ne serez qu'à quelques minutes de Niles Bay. Vous pourrez profiter de services et équipements comme une laverie. L'accès Wi-Fi à Internet gratuit et une cuisine sont disponibles dans cette cabane.

Staying on an island on Lake Vermilion has been on our family's bucket list for year! The cabin had everything we needed, the owner was incredibly easy to work with, and the view from the island was incredible. We loved the feel of a remote, back woods experience with amenities like electricity and running water.

Great getaway to an island retreat

We enjoyed a nice relaxing week at a great A-frame cabin on an island all our own. The property and location was perfect for what we were looking for and hope to get back there sometime. Has everything you would ever need, the hammocks and R&R was wonderful!

Fantastic spot to get away

We had a great week on Lake Vermilion. It’s a beautiful, peaceful spot with everything you need. We enjoyed fishing, swimming, hiking at the shore lunch, and watching bald eagles at the opening of Black Bay. Highly recommend for a great spot to spend time with family.

Great Minnesota cabin experience. Girls enjoyed kayaking, canoeing, and catching fish from the dock. Watching movies in the evening. Secluded yet close enough to day trip adventures withthe family. Everything you need in one place.

The Island is in a beautiful quiet location. Once you get all your stuff to the island its all relaxation. Fishing off the dock was good for the kids and provided good excitement. There are several places to eat and gas up on the big part of the lake. You can even access Fortune Bay via boat with a 30-40 minute boat ride. Golf at the Wilderness is top notch. The cabin is small, but enough room for 3 adults and 2 kids. Black bay is a small bay which provides nice protection when the weather gets bad. Dock has ample space for two larger boats. Saw lots of loons and eagles from our dock. Overall a great experience and highly recommend.

Perfect Private Island Retreat

Cabin is incredible and having the island to yourself on this beautiful lake made for a perfect father son weekend getaway! The cabin has all of the conveniences of home and the host could not be more accommodating. I have stayed at many VRBOs and this was one of the best experiences I have had! The fishing off the dock was great and the owner went out of his way to help us on how / where to catch fish. The lake itself offers great fishing and beautiful scenery. Even though you are on a private island, it is easy enough to access town, so you get the convenience of town with the peacefulness of being away from the noise. The cabin has a great outdoor sitting area and fire pit that we used almost every night. We would highly recommend this to anyone, whether you are an avid sportsmen or just want to get away and enjoy the absolute serenity that this lake has to offer.

Cabin Living

The cabin was very nice and the view doesn’t get any better than that. A lot of great upgrades have been done to the property including the composting toilet, internet service, the live wells on the dock and the washer/dryer. You feel like you are in the wilderness but still have the amenities of home. Shaun was great and answered all of our questions in a timely manner. We would definitely recommend this vacation spot.

It was a nice place to stay. Loved the privacy on the island. It was nice having the washer and dryer. Everything we needed. The only issue was it seemed like we could launch our boat at their dock, but that wasn’t the case. Now we know for next time. Overall, great experience!

What a week of memories made!

What a week of memories made! Our family had such a wonderful time exploring, fishing and enjoying all of the beauty around the island. It is breathtaking! Do yourself a favor and check out the stars after dark. The kids caught plenty of fish right off the dock when we were not out on the lake. The cabin and island are well-stocked with everything you need. Shaun was very helpful with our questions. It was hard to leave!

Great way to get out of the city!

The cabin and island were fantastic! Everything was very clean and very well laid out. The pre-strung hammocks were a great way to spend the afternoon reading a book with an excellent view out to the water. The area around the public boat landing directly south of the cabin was gorgeous! We boated all around Black Bay and into the main Lake Vermilion waters and saw plenty of wildlife. We took one day trip to hike the various trails nearby and another day trip to visit 100+ black bears at the Vince Shute Wildlife Sanctuary. Shaun was an awesome host and always there when we had questions. We highly recommend his cabin and island to anyone looking for a secluded getaway.

Quiet, loons, stars….

We had a fabulous time…. Swimming off dock, fishing, star gazing, hammock swinging, books, and a couple fires. Kids caught loads of fish…first walleye! Cabin has super comfortable beds, clean linens. Washer/dryer a plus but used hanging lines more for our clothes. You are on an island and it slows everyone down. Need to be okay with no dishwasher, composting toilet, etc. Missing it! Walleye Island

Shaun is an awesome host. Third summer trip in last three years and plan to come again next year. Enough walleye to feed the family for days! Imagine an entire island all for yourself with everything you would normally have at home. Comfortably slept family of five. Bathroom, water, and boat ride to island are all no problems and should not stop you from booking. This vacation rental is unlike any other we have ever stayed at and we keep coming back and it gets better every time. Thanks Shaun and see you next year and the new dock was great for swimming and parking the boat.

A stay away

It was a perfect place to get far away from everyday. We needed a break from everything that distracts us as a couple from the being our best. It was nice to reconnect, to remind ourselves of what is truly important and the things that really matter in life. We found that in our very short week. The serenity, quiet (but for the loons), and beauty that exists “ up north” is rarely found today. We found that here, and… we caught a few fish as a bonus! Amazing private island is for real!

This is a private island with all the amenities of home. Stove and oven worked great! Kids caught tons of fish off the dock. Live well on the dock was great for keeping minnows and other caught fish. We rented the boat and Shaun gave great advice on ways to fish. We didn't catch the big one, but had a few that got away, maybe you will catch them. The boat was great for fishing. Would highly recomend this private getaway to anyone who is looking for a great fishing adventure. Toilet was no problem. House was clean when we got there. Zups grocery store in Cook had water and great local frozen pizza would recomend chicken alfredo! Dump was super easy to just outside of Cook. They didn't even charge for two bags of garbage dropped off. Thanks for all your help Shuan! Cant wait to come back!

My middle son wanted his "senior" trip to be with his whole family (dog too) and focused on fishing. This was the perfect rental for exactly that. Shaun was great with all of our questions. The cabin was perfect-- we have 3 boys (20, 17, 14) myself, my husband, and dog, and we didn't feel crowded. The boys enjoyed all the family pictures and history of the island. We spent most of our time outside-- and ate our meals in the screened-in gazebo. The boys spent most of their time fishing-- both on the dock & in the boat. They caught a trophy walleye off the dock and the biggest fish (northern) off the dock. My middle son ended up catching 50 fish during our week's stay. Our dog enjoyed roaming the island and we found a little area where he could swim. We enjoyed the kayak and spent some time in the hammocks relaxing. We were expecting the mosquitos to be awful-- but they weren't. It was a great way to get a "wilderness" feel (felt very much like Boundary Waters in the bay) with modern-day amenities. I'm sure my boys will ask to go back next summer!

Island Life and Walleye

This was our second year we booked the island and plan to come back again. Shaun is great and he did everything he could to put us on the fish. We caught enough walleyes for a couple of meals and more Northern, blue gills, and crappie than I could keep track of. Kids had a great time fishing and swimming right off the dock. Tons of space for 5 people and more. Kitchen had everything. Toilet, garbage, and water are no problem. Easily take care of all things needed in Cook just a short drive from the island. Used the boat and it worked great for fishing. Easily gets your stuff from car to the island. This is a true paradise if you enjoy fishing, swimming, canoeing, kayaking, all while doing so on your very own private island. It is obvious that Shaun has thought about every detail down to the lights that come on at dark to guide your boat in after a night of fishing. The screen doors that shut perfectly and keep out all the bugs. The tin roof over the new gazebo that sounds incredible in the rain. Thanks for sharing this one of a kind property with us Shaun. If you are unsure. .trust me you won't be disappointed!
