The condo was good, better for people who eat out all the time. We cook most of our meals in house so we found some items, like spatulas, etc plastic like they came from a dollar store. Two beds were like sleeping in a hammock. The dryer vent had not been cleaned and we had to reach down in and pull out a lot of lint. The washer made a clunk sound twice during washing - we reported to contact person but it was not fixed. We've rented condos at Vista Cay for over 10 years. This one is good but not excellent for people who spend most of their time at the condo.

Location near Epic was very nice. Could walk to Publix, Chick-fil-A, and Walgreen’s. Balcony overlooking lake was great. Size of rooms were perfect. Only complaint would be it got warm and no ceiling fans.

Great place, but a few improvements needed

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, and only wished for a few improvements, but had a negative experience after check-out, that prevented this from being a 5-star review. The property is very nice and clean, has a lovely view of the lake, wonderful balcony furniture, and is in a great location. We especially appreciated things such as coffee for the first morning, salt and pepper, pool towels, and enough kitchen/bath amenities to get us started (some owners at Vista Cay do not provide all these things). We only wished all the beds had actual bedspreads/comforters on them, not just sheets over a single blanket, with no extras, and that the clean dishes would be kept in the kitchen cabinets, not displayed on the bar and dining table, where it makes you wonder if they are clean. We don't need the dishes displayed like for a photo shoot; they should be clean and conveniently accessible in the kitchen cabinets when guests are staying there. But the thing that left a negative impression, was our experience after check out, when our daughter-in-law accidentally left her curling iron and hair dryer in the bathroom cabinet. After making numerous calls, and not getting follow-up calls/emails, despite being told I would, I was finally told they found the hair dryer but not the curling iron. Both items were left together in the cabinet, so this seems fishy and is quite frustrating. Hopefully situations like this can be improved on in the future. It's too bad that tainted our pleasant stay.

Global Pet Expo

Have stayed at Vista Cay properties probably 15 years for this trade show. Has always been nice except for one year. This property is very nice and has been remodeled. Check in was easy and everything was great.

Great time

Place had an indoor entry and elevator. Amenities were closed, tried to go to the hot tub one night and was directed a 5 minute walk, we were already pushing close to closing time so opted out. But place was clean, easy to find, and directions given were easy to follow.

Beautiful place!

The place was beautiful and very spacious. Beds were comfortable and everything was neat and clean. Loved the easy check-in/check-out process. I never could find the pool so I felt that was a little misleading with there being pictures of a pool area with hot tub in the listing. I’m sure it’s on the property but wasn’t very accessible for us. Overall it was a great stay and I would book here again!

Beautiful condo

This is a gorgeous property with just about everything you need to live comfortably while traveling. Very clean, simply but nicely decorated. Beautiful and well-appointed kitchen. Awesome, huge master bath! Close to the pool/clubhouse, and nice water view from the balcony. I only have 2 suggestions to the owner to improve the condo. 1) the hallways stink - this may be out of the owners control. The garbage from all of the units are put out (and picked up) in bins in the hallway every day. That added up to a pretty strong and foul odor. (Inside the condo was fine - only the hallways were stinky) 2) the air conditioning was rigged so it defaulted to 75 degrees every couple of hours - very uncomfortable in orlando in july. Granted, the feels like temp was well over 100 during our stay, but that was even more reason we needed relief in our condo. My solution? How about ceiling fans in the bedrooms? That would have made sleeping much more comfortable. Instead it was hard to sleep and I woke up hot every night. Other than that, it was a nice home- away- from- home.

Great location for Convention Center

Condo is in a good location. Grounds are well kept and there is a nice walking/jogging trail around the adjacent lake. Condo is well kept but the master mattress is in need of change it was very soft and lumpy. Also a couple of the bar stools are very "rocky" and feel like they are going to break at anytime so we did not use those. Our code was sent very early via email and not day of so we had to reach out to get it again. The company was quick to respond. Overall a good stay and would have been perfect except for the couple furniture issues.

Great family Orlando vacation

We wanted to take our grandkids on a vacation to Orlando. This property had a great location and so easy to get in & out. Nice & clean and very well stocked. Property had great amenities. It was a great vacation!!!

This was a nice unit. It was just as the photos depict. Two comments for management are to replace the mattresses. Particularly the Master Bedroom. It's sagging so very badly. And, deep clean and refresh the patio. The dust, cobwebs and use of furniture is very noticeable. Management was very responsive to every inquiry and concern; even the mattress question before our stay as another guest prior had mentioned it. We were told that a replacement wasn't possible before we arrived and appreciated the honesty. Not sure if/when the much needed replacement will happen. They were also very concerned to assist us when we thought we left something after checking out. Overall it was a nice unit and we enjoyed our stay very much.

Overall the unit was just fine. The mattresses desperately need replacing though and there were very visible stains on a few of the decorative pillows. The patio could use a good wash down but the view is very nice. What is seen on the website is exactly what's there. Amenities are okay. Customer service response was awesome! Location is great!

Beautifully remodeled - peaceful view - great place to stay

I was in town for event at Orange County Convention Center - it was a long stay and I wanted a kitchen and a peaceful spot to unwind. This balcony was the perfect place! The kitchen was well-stocked with appliances, etc. The entire condo was was beautiful - I will definitely be back.

Wonderful Vacation Spot

We stayed for 2 nights after our cruise. We had 8 family members staying comfortably. We enjoyed the pool and park on the property. The location is great! Close to most things but far enough away that traffic isn’t terrible. We will stay again in the future!
