All of our guests have full access to the resort including the magnificent heated pools, kiddie pool, Hot tub, Tiki Bar, gyms, arcade, walking dock, and more. No need to drive!

You may also want to enjoy miniature golf for a nominal fee in front of the resort at the beautiful Hawaiian Royal Adventure Miniature Golf.

For any quick purchases there is a Walgreens across the street and a Dollar Tree next door to the Resort.

There are countless restaurants within a mile of resort but just outside the resort you can find a Starbucks and Subways as well as a Cicis Pizzeria and the excellent Pal Campo Restaurant next-door.

The Neighborhood:
Just one mile from Disney. This amazing area has so much to offer. Disney Springs is a wonderful shopping center and park tickets are not required to shop there.

Getting Around:
Many places are walkable but we still recommend a car for getting around. There is so much to explore and see!

Place has a beautiful view from the balcony. It’s very close to all parks and Starbucks is in front of the property.

Orlando in June

We were in Orlando in June of 2025 for daughter's volleyball team's national tournament. The location was conveniently located for all of our activities, local attractions and restaurants. The property was very nice. Buildings were well maintained. Pool and dock/lake area were very nice, never crowded. The unit we stayed in was very clean, well maintained and nicely decorated. Host, Cynthia, was very responsive to messages, with friendly, helpful answers to all questions. Always in a very short timeframe.I would absolutely stay here again.

Overall a nice place very close to Disney

My daughter was at Disney for a dance event and this property gave us easy access to her and to Disney. Overall the place was very clean and well-equipped, my only negative feedback is that the cabinets are a little beat up, but really not a big deal. The listing didn't say that there is an in-unit washer and dryer but there is which is a bonus. The property itself is very nice and comfortable, the pools are nice. The primary bedroom could use some better blinds to keep the light out but that is very minor. My husband, son and I were very comfortable at the property and would definitely stay again.

Great view

This was our 5 th stay at the blue heron and the second time we have rented through vrbo. The unit has had some updates in comparison to the regular facility rentals. I did contact the owner about an issue with outlets and the dvd player not working, nothing was done. The place was clean and if you’re going to the parks and eating out all the time it’s a great choice. However we hang by the incredible pool on the property and enjoy the view and just relax. The unit could have used a few more utensils and sone attention to details. ( we actually bought some at the dollar store and left them ) overall it’s a good value if your a family exploring the parks .

Stay was okay, unit needs upkeep

We’ve stayed at blue heron before and we love the property. The location is great and the management company usually does a good job. Unfortunately, this unit does need some routine maintenance; and although it did not ruin our stay, it was definitely an inconvenience at times. The dishwasher leaks water all over the kitchen, the dryer makes a terrible noise while running, the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom has a broken drain spout so it doesn’t hold water, and the toilet in the bedroom often won’t flush- sometimes you’ll need to wait for the tank to refill and try again (or again.) Overall, there was nothing wrong with the communication with the owner, but it’s obvious this unit hasn’t been looked over in a while.
