my experience was very disappointing. As an active-duty member of the U.S. military, I booked this property well in advance and expected it to be clean, properly maintained, and ready for my family's arrival. Unfortunately, that was not the case.When we arrived, the previous guests' trash was still outside in the trash can. I reported it immediately because I understand guests can be held responsible for issues like this. Inside the home, the kitchen drawers and several other areas were dirty, the air vents were covered in dust, and the overall cleanliness did not meet expectations.One of the main reasons we chose this property was the theater room. However, the theater screen was torn down when we arrived. I reported the issue immediately and requested that someone come repair it because my family was looking forward to using it. Unfortunately, no one ever came to address the problem.On our first day, we found a small black snake in the pool. A maintenance worker came the following day to add chemicals, but the pool should have been cleaned and serviced before our arrival. There was also no pool net available for us to remove bugs or debris from the water.In addition, the bedroom sheets did not appear to be clean. The air conditioning was not working in the downstairs bedroom by the pool, where my 75-year-old mother was sleeping, making her stay very uncomfortable. To make matters worse, the ice machine stopped working during our stay.
