We specifically rented this home and paid for a heated pool because our grandkids love swimming. Our first day was planned as a pool day. Unfortunately, the pool was not heated. The owner initially stated that we had not paid for pool heat, but after I showed the receipt, they came to turn it on. Because of the delay, we were unable to swim for the first two days â and we were only there for four nights. The third and fourth days we were at the parks, so missing those first two pool days was very disappointing. The main reason we chose a home with a pool (and paid extra for heat) was so the kids could swim. The living room seating also does not accommodate a larger group well. Two couches would make much more sense than one couch and two small chairs. It just wasnât comfortable for everyone to gather together. Three remotes needed batteries (management reimbursed us), the living room TV is quite small for the space, and there were not enough dishes provided â we had to wash dishes after every meal instead of running the dishwasher once daily. The front door lock would not work, although there was a lock box as a backup. Nothing major, but overall it just felt off. We rent in Windsor Hills twice a year, and this home simply did not have the same âfeels like homeâ experience weâre used to. Management was kind and responsive, which we appreciated.
