Nous y avons sĂ©journĂ© du 15/01 au 26/01/24, endroit trĂšs propre et calme ( par contre un peu bruyant Ă  cause du trafic). L appartement est bien Ă©quipĂ© en fait d accessoire pour cuisiner. Ont y retrouve aussi chaise, serviette, glaciĂšre dispo pour emmener Ă  la plage. Et trĂšs grande terrasse sur le toit pour y prendre du soleil avec chaise longue, et mĂȘme chaise et table, ainsi que de beau canapĂ© confortable pour relaxer. Je recommande fortement tres belle endroit les photos publiĂ© sont identique que lorsque l ont y est.

Disappointing Decline in Room Quality Since Last Stay

The room had a persistent damp smell throughout our stay. The sofa had a noticeable stain, which we later discovered was due to a leak from the air conditioner dripping onto it. We moved the sofa and placed a cooler underneath to catch the water. Additionally, there was mold on the wall behind the sofa and in the bathroom. We stayed in this same unit in August 2021, and the property was immaculate at that time.

City Living in Oranjestad

Nice property! Within the vicinity of downtown Oranjestad. At night, the noise level can be a bit much as it is right in front of a main road. The water temperature for the shower and sinks did not go past semi-warm, but did not impact my stay. I would recommend this unit for a short stay in Oranjestad!

Well maintained property and good value

This property is well maintained and is a good value for active people who want to be close to Oranjstead and the beaches. We stayed for 28 days. The only downside was the road noise on weekend and holiday nights because the property is right on Route 2 which is a major thoroughfare.

Well equipped one Bedroom

This is our second year staying in this unit. Last year we stayed for one week. This year we stayed for two weeks and used the apartment as a base to explore Aruba’s beaches. The apartment is located downtown about 1 kilometre from the cruse terminal. If you have only stayed on the Eagle and Palm beach hotels then this will be a different experience for you. It is located on a busy down town street and as a result there can be traffic noise, especially on Friday night( party buses seem to use this route frequently). The apartment had everything we needed to allow us to cooks meals, if we wished to do so and comes with a cooler, ice packs, two beach chairs and two beach towels all of which we put to daily use exploring many of Aruba’s varied beaches. It also has a communal washer and dryer which came in very handy.

Great value and very clean

We enjoyed our stay! Great value for the money. Roof top had nice views of harbour, 10 minute drive to beaches, 20 minute walk to waterfront restaurants and bars.

De verdad el apartamento en muy buen estado amplio me gusto mucho solo les aconsejo algĂșn sistema de olor ya que olĂ­a mucho a humedad de resto todo muy bien nos gustĂł. Me tocĂł un apartamento con vista al cementerio si me hubiese gustado saberlo antes y no llevarme la sorpresa. Pero en lĂ­nea general Perfecto para ahorrar dinero y poder gastarlo en otras actividades .

Great stay! The apartment was clean and central do everything. The rooftop is relaxing and has a small pool which is nice. Wish they had a grill up there but it was perfect overall.

Aruba 17 Night Stay

We enjoyed our 17 night stay. Communication was prompt. If any questions were asked they were answered very detailed and up and beyond. We arranged a car rental and airport transportation. Everything was great. If times were set they were always on time. Our place was very quiet, easy to get around, parking was easy. The rooftop is beautiful with so much privacy. Very happy.

Staying at the Salomon Building

The directions how to get there were very clear. However, to get access to my key for the lockbox was a nightmare. My combination was changed without notifying us. Luckily, Nicole was still there and she tried to get the lockbox open and couldn't. She had to call the maintenance man over where she was informed the combination had been changed. If we wouldn't have caught Nicole, we would have never been able to get into our apartment. Very poor communication on that end as even Nicole was not aware of the combination change. Very, very disappointed in that aspect.

Everything was according to descriptions. Great location close to everything. We enjoyed it pretty much. Could rise the bar when it comes to toiletries and paper towels along with coffee filters. They really do count everything. Lol.

Home in the sun

This apartment was new & up to date with appliances & facilities. Everything you needed to live comfortably. The 3rd floor roof terrace was a great spot to watch the sunset with a drink after a busy day at the beach. The location was central to all sights. A car made travel throughout the island easy. Parking facilities were good. A washing machine & dryer was available to all residents. The only drawback is the constant noise from the busy road.

No surprises

That was the best part of the trip and stay. The only thing I would recommend. At least two towels for each person staying. Otherwise, the place was great. The roof top was nice to sun bath and relax. The location was great for us, we were exploring the island for two weeks. So, we weren't too far anything. If you are a real light sleeper this might not be the place for you. It does have morning traffic.

Our Stay

The apartment was very clean and had all the appliances you needed however one issue we had was that there was intense drilling in the concrete directly in front of our window which started at 7 AM for our entire stay and lasted a few hours. That was extremely frustrating and did not allow for a good nights rest. Nor was I able to complete work as I have zoom meetings to attend at 9 AM. Therefore I had to leave out the apartment going to the roof that to try to have silence while working which you could still hear even up there but not as loud of course as directly outside of the window .It was also slightly difficult to reach the property management & receive a quick response at times. Outside of that our stay was good. It would have been GREAT if construction wasn’t a factor.

Review

The property was overall clean and well maintained. Also the rooftop was very nice,but the Tele didnt work and there was no grill. A couple of observations. The first being the location of the property is on an extremely busy street; the cars start traveling noisily down the street at sunrise, so you won't be sleeping in. A bit of soundproofing would solve this. Also, the mattress and pillows should have protection on them (mattress pads). I had to wash the sheets and discovered an old stain on the mattress. It could have been a spilled drink, but a mattress pad would have caused there to not be a stain on the mattress.
