Wind Drift 102S - Magnifique condo de plage amélioré prÚs de Florabama

Le cadre parfait pour une escapade tranquille en famille. Ce condo a une vue parfaite qui vous donne l'impression de flotter juste au-dessus du golfe. De plus, l'emplacement est suffisamment isolĂ© pour que vous vous sentiez comme si vous vous Ă©loigniez de tout, mais toujours au cƓur d'Orange Beach. Le cĂ©lĂšbre salon Florabama est juste en bas de la route et des restaurants de classe mondiale vous entourent. C'est vraiment un cadre fantastique dans un grand complexe.

Vous allez adorer la vue dans ce condo de deux chambres à Orange Beach. Ce condo de 2 chambres et 2 salles de bain se trouve au 1er étage, juste au-dessus des dunes, avec une vue dégagée sur le golfe du Mexique et possÚde plus de 1 000 pieds carrés d'espace.

L'unité peut accueillir jusqu'à 7 avec un roi dans la chambre principale, un lit double et un lit double dans la deuxiÚme chambre, plus un canapé-lit dans le salon. Aménagements intérieurs comprennent laveuse et sécheuse, 3 télévisions, une chaßne stéréo, ainsi que des draps en coton égyptien.

Équipements complexes: Deux piscines extĂ©rieures et trois courts de tennis Ă©clairĂ©s.

Le stationnement est limité à deux (2) voitures par unité. Vous devrez acheter vos cartes de stationnement auprÚs du gardien de sécurité à votre arrivée. Au 31/05/18, Wind Drift facturait 20 $. 00 plus taxes par carte de stationnement. Ce prix peut changer à tout moment, sans préavis. Wind Drift propose un amarrage de premier arrivé, premier servi et de stockage de bateaux et de remorques en face de la plage, sur le quai du condo. Perfect location, the beach wasn’t busy and was easy to access. Kudos to the cleaning crew! It was a very clean unit, linens and towels smelled fresh and everything was in place. The owners provided boogie boards which the kids loved. We didn’t utilize them this time but they also provided games in the living room. The lack of a deadbolt on the front door was quite alarming. We had to check it from the outside once we realized it doesn’t automatically lock upon closing. Overall, the condo buildings seem pretty well kept for being dated.I would return but would choose a different unit that not everyone with the code could access.

Fun Times at Wind Drift

We enjoyed our Spring Break at this property and loved the location. The condo was well appointed with comfy beds, well-stocked kitchen and just a walk to the beach. We were aware of the work being done although they did start early every morning before 7. The workers were friendly and tried to be as unobtrusive as possible. We will be back.

Evacuation

During our stay the condo was clean and easy check in process. During our stay they were drilling on the concrete underneath us. Management failed to inform us and it was also unpermited work being done. Drilling and vibrating such an unbearable noise waking up my 1 year old. They told me they would give me a credit of $125 and i've not seen confirmation of that. As a result of the drilling the building was evacuated due to potentional collapse. While they set up another place to stay. My family and i were too shook up to stay and we drove home that night. I see now they have deemed the building safe after saying potential collapse. Due to circumstances I wouldn't feel safe to stay again.

Family fishing trip at the beach

We planned a family fishing trip at Orange Beach. This condo location was great and close to everywhere we wanted to be. Will book again. Only draw back was no code for the gate when we arrived. However, our booking manager was able to work it and we received a code soon afterwards. Our 10 yr old son loved it! The beach was not flooded with people and so close to the room.

Great location, quite, right on the beach. Rooms very spacious. Well kept and clean. Only draw back was shortage on necessary supplies. Only one trash bag, and one roll of t-paper per bathroom. Wifi wasn't working first night and unable to contact management until after weekend. Overall great place.

Beautiful Condo and Perfect location

This was our first time to Orange Beach, we always go to Florida so we weren't sure what to expect. This condo is beautiful, the ice maker is a huge game changer, the short walk to the beach and the pool made it so nice! It is home away from home and we loved every minute! If you can go catch the sunrise it is breathtaking. Thank you for sharing your condo and we will be back!!

VRBO - great place, but the property needed wor

This isn’t the first time we’ve rented from VRBO, but this unit and previous rentals always need a lot of work. I feel that this place and previous rentals are treated like red-headed step children. In my experience the properties are treated like rental income/investments for the owner. Below is a list of things we experienced. If I owned a beach property, I know I would take a lot more pride in my home. - Washer/dryer door off the tracks-we put the door in the front closet so it wouldn’t fall on anyone walking in the door - Garbage disposal not working-had to call 3 times-when maintenance came previous renters had put glass in it and clogged it up - No wine glasses/enough ware-need a run of dishwater-glasses-measuring spoons etc -?Light bulbs not working(we’re working-people had untwisted
but cleaning people didn’t bother to turn back on) - There was hair left in bathtubs - Main clock not working - Corner lamp not barely working - All comforters are stained and could use washing - Could really use 2 double beds in front room Monday: - Never called us/returned call about garbage disposal
 - Bar stool support leg is broken off chair (on at least 2 bar stools) - Lock box outside is rusted open and keys available etc (we would want to know) - Dish network tv not working-need better instructions for which tv remote to use eyc -Main bedroom dresser handle is off The location of the condo and access to the beach is great. I fill that either the support staff that manage this property are more worried about turnover in the summer and not willing to fix the little things because it might take the condo off the market for a day or two. I enjoy the convenience of VRBO, but the property owners and whomever else is managing them aren’t doing you guys a favor by keeping the property updated.

Very nice but not all receptacles were working in kitchen so that was inconvenient got fixed by Tuesday then had no more problem nice clean and loved having ice machine saved a lot of money on buying ice

Perfect unit!

We loved the ease of access to the beach and pool! Having an infant with us, we could not have asked for a more conveniently located unit. The complex itself seemed to be undergoing construction/had damage from a storm or something, and the second bedroom in the unit looked like it was having some work done to it, but it did not bother us in the least, and the elevators did work (had read a few reviews prior to our stay that said they did not). The kitchen was well stocked with supplies. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and definitely plan to return!

Bad Experience

The property was under construction. You had to use opposite doors and go around often. The trash room to throw trash was disgusting. We called the property manager had to leave messages. Parking was horrible you paid $60 per pass and had to park across the street. Just so poor. Pool was dirty. Our condo stayed hot we were miserable at night. Did get a small credit but for the price I paid should have been more. The garbage disposal didn’t work. Was very disappointing!!!

Decent condo for the price

We enjoyed our stay in this condo. The kitchen is nicely updated. We loved that there is an ice maker in the kitchen so we didn’t have to buy ice for our cooler the whole time we stayed here. The walk to the beach is short and mostly boardwalk, which is so helpful when you’re toting a wagon and a baby. A couple of negatives: there is mold in the master bathroom on the shower curtain, the shower head, and the walls. The water pressure is great, but it actually kind of hurts. My kids didn’t love taking showers (they preferred a bath) because the pressure from the shower heads was so high and stung a little. I would recommend updated shower heads to regulate the pressure. The cleaning staff did not bother to vacuum the rug underneath the coffee table so we had to do that when we got there so that our baby could play in the floor. Also, the internet is awful. I work from home and so when I am on “vacation” I still have to send out some emails and it was very difficult to do so in this condo. I had to use the hot spot on my phone most of the time. If you’re traveling with an infant, the master closet is the perfect size for a pack n play or play pen. We put our baby to sleep in there with the door cracked and it worked perfectly. Overall we enjoyed the condo, and I would give it 5 stars with a few tweaks.

Great location and amenities. Well-appointed kitchen.

This is a lovely unit in a perfect location. The kitchen has everything you need and the washer/dryer is tucked away near the entry. There is an issue in the master bathroom. The bathtub drain is stopped up and water stands above your ankles causing a dangerous, slippery surface. The poor drainage has caused mildew along the bottom 6 inches of shower curtain liner as well as up the folds of the liner. Not wanting to interrupt our stay waiting for someone to address this issue, we used bathroom cleaners and were able to remove the mildew. The standing water persists. This building has suffered water damage which is evident from the missing sheetrock in the entry and some units. However, everything was open, dried-out and didn't interfere with our stay. There is construction in the parking lot which causes many to use the overflow parking at the Windrift Building across the highway. There is no walkway, so one must walk down the highway to a crossover (which didn't work sometimes) to get past the heavy traffic. All that being said, we would stay here again.

Great Family-Oriented Area

We loved the quiet and secluded area with easy access to the Foley Beach Expressway. We were here for the USSSA National Championship, so we traveled a lot back and forth to Foley. Being able to jump on the expressway was a must!
