The property is located almost center of Orange Beach. Everything you would need to buy for your stay is within 5 minutes of the condominium. There are also plenty of restaurants of all varieties to the right and left of the building. The unit itself is very nice and clean and well equipped with all your kitchen needs. There is a large tv in the living room so you can watch your favorite shows. The couch and chairs are very comfortable. It comes with a full-size washer and dryer and plenty of closet space. There are 2 bedrooms with TV's and 2 full bathrooms. The bedrooms are spacious, and the beds are comfortable. It is an open concept layout with the living room, dining room and a bar separating the kitchen which has all full-size appliances. There are sliding doors leading from the master bedroom and the living room to the balcony overlooking the pool but most of all the beautiful beach and ocean. The property manager is always a call or text away with great communication. We give it an A

I gave check-in 4 stars because when we arrived the code for the door didn’t work. It took almost an hour for us to be able to get in. However, I called the number listed on the digital guidebook they sent prior to us arriving and was helped immediately and throughly through the hour until we were in. I also emailed and was responded to quickly as well to help get us into our condo. This wasn’t ideal but the customer service/support made it much less frustrating because they were so helpful and got it solved. The condo was very clean and had everything we needed overall. We did bring the suggested items and that was helpful. The digital guidebook they sent was very user friendly and made our trip go smoothly. View from the balcony was perfect. 10/10 would recommend and stay again.

Great location

We loved our stay at Tidewater. Just a couple of suggestions. 1) would be nice to have at least one hair dryer in the unit. 2) TV in guest bedroom worked VERY sporadically. Would highly recommend Tidwater 802.

Pros and Cons

Pros: The beach is clean and has beautiful white sand. The view from the balcony is also great. The Condo was clean and is convenient to restaurants, shopping, and activities. The management company (Liquid Life) was very courteous, responsive, professional and the check-in process was easy and convenient. Cons: The Tidewater building is an older resort and the Condo is a little dated. A good renovation is in order. The guest bathroom shower did not have hot water and was unusable. The master bathroom shower head needs to be replaced. Both these items had been mentioned in previous reviews and we were disappointed that they had not been addressed upon our arrival. The master bathroom tub drains very slowly and water would back up 6 to 8 inches while taking a shower. This is probably due to sand build-up over the course of time.

I seemed the floor had not been swept or vacuumed. The master bathroom shower had no water pressure and standing ankle deep water when showering. We never saw the pool cleaned except when someone came to fix the bricks that fell off the side. Not my favorite.

Mostly ok

First, the tv wasn’t working when we checked in. The programming was off. I called and they told me they would send someone up. They never did. Luckily, I was able to get it fixed myself. Second, the main bathroom had no hot water in the shower, so it was unusable. This was a major problem as there were four of us. The bathroom room shower leaked and was very difficult to get the water set and turned off. Other than those issues, our stay was fantastic!

Total Beautiful Relaxation

I instantly walked to the balcony to see the veiw. Some wont understan this but this is where I spent most my time relaxing and enjoying the ocean sounds and veiw. Next I noticed how clean it was. It was everything I needed and was looking forward to. I'm in my 60's and do childcare. So this was so appreciated.

The bed in master was not comfortable at all. The master bathroom needs a new shower head. Other than those two things it was a great place to stay. It's an older building but clean and a great location.

We enjoyed our stay, perfect location,the beach was awesome and the sea turtles hatching was an awesome experience,the only thing is that the owner needs to be aware of the cleaning service not mopping the floors.Shower clean feet went directly into flip flops.Barefeet got dirty instantly after showering.Only complaint.Other than that 👍

Amazing condo

This condo was perfect for our family! It has all the amenities you need with a private walk to the beach which is absolutely stunning. I have to say this is by far my favorite beach! What a little piece of heaven!

Overall pleased

Unit was clean. Kitchen was not as well stocked as other Tidewater units we have rented in the past, but it worked. This unit was more spacious than others which made for a more enjoyable stay. The shower in the master bath leaks onto the floor, and one of the master bath faucets leaks onto the counter. There was a large church group (160 youth) staying on the property while we were there. This was less than ideal when they returned at the same time and wanted to use the only two elevators, but they were polite. It was just crowded at the pool and common areas at times. Overall, our stay was good and we would return.
