Beautiful beach view,sufficient room for four or six adults. Very quiet.Electrical outlets in both bedrooms did not work except for the lamp (the top half of the outlet.) Kitchen needs a thorough cleaning especially the stove, more dish towels and cloths. The upholstery on the living furniture needs to be cleaned.

No dishwasher with a big hole in the counter

Nobody informed us that they removed the dishwasher only to have a large extremely dirty hole that was never covered up and then had the installers come early in the morning before our check out. It was extremely disappointing to stay in such a filthy condo while charging extremely high prices and no response from management and no refund. I will post pictures

Great condo with beautiful view

The condo was great! Exactly as advertised and clean. Breeze from the fantastic balcony was amazing. The only complaint at all we had were the box springs on all of the beds were very squeaky. Difficult to sleep because they squeaked every time you moved. Otherwise the condo was great. Would definitely stay here again.

Bring Basic Kitchen Items, Vacasa Beware

Nice property in a great location, generally in good condition; however, a few things that made the stay less than optimal. First, there is a lack of basic kitchen items, cookware is worn beyond use, had to buy a skillet and disposable dinnerware due to so few forks and such. If you plan to do much beyond make coffee and toast, you'll need to bring it along or be prepared to buy it. Second, a broken door handle to the patio was brought to Vacasa's attention upon check-in through the general 800# and text assistance. They asked for a photo, and said they would have the local office send someone out. Day two, no one showed and local Vacasa's phone tree wouldn't take calls to the "currently occupying a unit" option, but I was able to reach someone who promised a repair. Day three, no calls could reach a person, no messages were returned. Day four, I finally reached someone and said if you're not going to fix the door, just say so and we both can save time, and I'll just reflect it in my rating. An hour later they showed and repaired. Not the type of service you'd expect, and you shouldn't have to threaten a bad rating to get someone out. This is a nice unit. The owner needs to find a different management company.

Great location - needs some updates

We loved the location of this property and the check in process was easy. It was a nice view and a corner unit. However, the beds were old and uncomfortable. There was a bloodstain on the comforter in the spare bedroom and the internet did not work for the first day. The handle was torn off of the refrigerator door and most of the decorations look like they haven’t changed in decades. I wouldn’t stay in this unit again.

Don’t Underestimate the Power of a Bad Bed on Vacation

This condo is a mixed bag. Yes, it has a beautiful beach view, but you might be too miserably tired from the poor nights sleep to enjoy it. Yes, it’s on the west side of the building, which gives you a west side view and earful of the new construction happening on the west side of the building. Most of the opportunities every other person has mentioned - and Vacasa has apologized for as not being up to their standards - have not been fixed. This is our 3rd year in a row to rent a unit from Vacasa somewhere along the Florida/Alabama coastline, and I would agree with Vacas’s numerous apologies to renters - this unit is not up to their standards based on the other two times we’ve rented from the company. We stayed two nights in this condo as a “layover” stop on a longer family trip. I mainly chose this unit so every member of our family, inclusive of 3 teenagers, could have a bed. “A” bed does not mean a good bed. All of the beds and pillows in the condo need replacement, but the master bed
oh, the master bed
goes first. It’s like sleeping on a box spring mattress with a literal 2 inch piece of basic foam on top of it. Rest is a major component of time away, and this bed ruins that hope. A great bed would cover a multitude of short term rental sins - the stained and outdated furniture, the struggling washer/dryer, the closet door cockeyed and off the hinges, the abundance of caraway seed and odd spices yet lack of salt or pepper, taped together TV remote controls, the noisy ceiling fans and the one-speed (low, of course) ceiling fans, the visible air filter in need of a change - but, alas, those are magnified due to sleep deprivation. We did cook in this unit, and we had all utensils and pans to do so. The countertops and bathroom tile looks like it was updated within the last several years. The beach in front of Summerchase is quieter and less populous than the public beach to the left and the major hotel beach to the right. Parking was tight but manageable, and the location is convenient, near grocery stores and restaurants. But until it’s confirmed the beds have been updated in this unit, renter beware. Don’t underestimate what poor sleep will do to your vacation. Truly, almost any oceanside unit in the area will have fabulous ocean views. We would not choose to stay in this unit again, and I’ve learned my lesson to ask about renter reviews and those opportunities being fixed before renting with Vacasa again.

Quiet beach

We have stayed at Summerchase several times before. We love the quiet beach. This particular unit was on the west side of the building, and construction is going on literally right next to the building. Kind of sad as it was sort of a secluded condo building. Also, the floors were very dirty. It was as if they had been swept, because there was no sand there, but we couldn't walk at all barefooted, or we would have awfully dirty feet. Otherwise, we enjoyed this condo very much.

Last Minute Trip

Making reservations on a last minute decision was made easy and very well worth it. The condo was very nice and spacious. Equipped with everything needed plus more. Views are amazing and loved the wrap around balcony. We will definitely rent again!

Beachfront Condo

We had a wonderful stay, weather did not cooperate a couple of the days but we made due. The condo was cozy, If I had to say anything it would be to update the furniture it is worn (looks dirty but wasn't) but still comfy. The master bedroom mastress could be replaced couldn't pinpoint what the issue was but never really got a good nights sleep, kinda roll to the middle even though it was a King. Kitchen was great and everything we needed. Location is fabulous and views from balcony were breathtaking.

The condo was wonderful! Had a great stay. The only negative comment I have is that the dryer took forever to dry clothes/towels. Took 2-3 hours to dry a load of clothes/towels. Outside of that we would definitely book again

Not as nice as pictured

The issues that people listed in the previous reviews were not fixed, like the place said they were going to be. The furniture was dirty, some was ripped and broke, the master mattress needed to replaced. There were patches on wall that hadn't been fixed. The curtains in the mast bedroom were dirty. The walkout to the beach was nice. The master bathroom and kitchen were very nice.. The building where the condo was dirty and needed up keep. I don't think it was worth what we paid for it, plus all the fees that obviously aren't going to maintenance.

Birthday get away

The house was almost perfect. A few spots that showed its age. Make sure you wash the dishes before use, they were not all clean eventhough they were put away. Most stores and restaurants where over crowded and under staffed. The beach was nice but with spots of litter. Overall a nice trip.
