WORST EXPERIENCE!!!

Before arriving to the property, I got a called from the rental manager, stating there was a leak in one of the bathroom “didn’t know which one” . I was told I couldn’t use the bathroom due to the leak. When I arrived to the condo there no leak in the bathroom, that they thought it was from the bathroom, but it was actually from the washer “ hot water only”. I was told no to use the washer or bathroom because they didn’t know where the leak was coming from. We stayed in the condo for 4 days and I couldn’t use the bathroom or the washer . Also, I seen a few roaches and the condo was not so clean. And to top it off , WE WERE STUCK IN THE ELEVATOR for about an hour, mind you it was hot, we were sweating! The pool was NASTY full of hair and the water was very cloudy. I very disappointed !!’ NEVER AGAIN, im staying on this property.

Disappointing

The 15th floor condo itself was fine, but 2 out of 4 elevators were not working which made for some long elevator wait times, especially in a building the size of Phoenix V. The most disappointing was that the outdoor pool was closed. It was our understanding that both the elevator and pool closures were due to scheduled maintenance, and not emergency situations. Who does that during spring break months?! Since we only made this reservation 2 months ago, I feel like we should have been informed of these closures. As it was, we were informed only 2-3 days before our arrival; too late to cancel and book elsewhere. With 2 children, the pool was a big part of our planned vacation. Sadly, all we got was a “sorry for the inconvenience.”

Nice pool and right on the beach

This was our first time to this area and we didn't know what to expect. All our friends have been here so we wanted to experience what OB/GS had to offer. I was concerned about reviews stating the elevator was slow, especially since we're on the 15th floor, but after a week we really only had to wait once during peak time, rarely did we have to wait more than a few minutes. Check-in took a while at the front desk because there were several checking in at the same time and only one employee. We had an issue with not being given our parking code at check-in but security quickly helped resolve the issue and we were pleasantly surprised to have underground parking! The property has plenty of carts to transport bags and groceries to your room, the unit had everything we needed for our group of 6. The couch seating area was a little narrow and uncomfortable to watch movies on the one rainy day. The Dish/TV kept having to be reset but we managed okay. The pools and splash pad were great for our young grandsons, The condo is close to everything so if you're looking for touristy things and places, this is perfect. If you're looking for laid back, this may not be it. There were a lot of young families and everyone was polite and kind, locals and travelers. Definitely a nice place to stay if you don't mind crowds. Checkout process was super easy.

Enjoyed our stay but check-in was a hassle. Condo wasn't ready at the expected time.. We had to wait over an hour to get into the unit. Otherwise it was great.

This is a great place to stay especially if you have kids! My 2 year old loved the splash pad! The room was great for my family of 3 and just as described. I took one star away due to there being a few things I noticed that weren’t cleaned well when we arrived and we had issues with our lock not wanting to open a few times but nothing major, I would definitely stay here again!

Friends trip!

Wonderful location + wonderful communication! We have been coming to Orange Beach for our “friends” trip for years and we’re definitely not disappointed this year! We had a small issue with the air but thankfully it didn’t make a big impact on our trip and maintenance came to check it out. Would book again!

Great Condo but would not return to the Phoenix V

The condo was extremely clean but there were a few things that did not work; the coffee maker, the ice maker, a few lamps, the top part of the electrical outlets, the latch on the door was very hard to open, and the dryer.(It took over two hours for a load of towels to dry). However, we would never return to the Phoenix V because of how long it took for the elevators. There are only 4 elevators for the ENTIRE complex. Waiting 20 minutes after being at the beach all day was ridiculous. Also, check-in was a nightmare. It took almost 45 minutes to get up to our condo.

Clean and family friendly beach front location

Great location. Wake up to the view of the beach right outside your door. Condo was very clean and fully stocked. Family friendly. Enough space for our family of five. Only thing you need to bring are your beach toys and chairs.

Nice but won’t be back

The AC never went below 73 after it was looked at and told it would be fixed no one ever showed to fix it. I like to be cold at night so sleep was not that great, dryer needs to be replaced, we had to turn it on about 4 times with each load to get them to dry.
