Welcome to Phoenix East 009, a beautifully appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom ground-floor condo located directly on the beach in the heart of Orange Beach, Alabama. With 1,005 square feet of living space and sleeping up to 8 guests, this unit offers an unbeatable combination of convenience, comfort, and Gulf-front access, perfect for family vacations or group getaways.

Primary Bedroom: King-size bed, HDTV, and private en-suite bathroom with updated walk-in shower.
Bedroom 2: Two Queen-size beds, large HDTV, and access to a second full bathroom—ideal for kids or extra guests.
Living Room: Sleeper sofa, cozy seating, flat-screen TV, and easy access to the private patio.
Kitchen: Fully equipped with modern appliances, granite countertops, cookware, utensils, and a combo Keurig/standard drip coffee maker.

BEACHBALL PROPERTIES VACATION RENTAL POLICIES:

RENTAL AGREEMENT: Tenant Vacation Rental Agreement must be electronically signed to secure your reservation. Please read carefully. This is a legally binding document.

NO SMOKING: All properties are non-smoking.

AGE RESTRICTION: Must be at least 25 years older to book a BEACHBALL PROPERTIES vacation rental. A person 25 years or older must be staying at the property for the entire duration of the booking. There will be no refunds issued for anyone booking under false pretenses.

CHECK-IN: Check-in is at 4PM. Early check-in is not possible, sorry but no exceptions.

CHECK-OUT: Check-out is at 10AM. Check out after 10AM will be charged an additional day.

MONTHLY/SNOWBIRD RENTALS: Available from November through February. Call to ask about monthly rates.

PARKING PASSES: Two (2) parking passes available maximum for this unit. $55 each to be purchased on site. Not included in reservation cost. The cost of parking passes is set by each Homeowner's Association and is subject to change at any time without notice. U-hauls, trailers, boats, jet skis, buses, etc. are not allowed on property.

CANCELLATION POLICY RELAXED: Guests who cancel at least 30 days before check-in shall receive a 100% refund of the amount they have paid. For cancellations between 14 and 30 days before check-in, 50% of the total reservation costs shall be refunded. For cancellations made less than 14 days prior to the beginning date of the reservation, NO REFUNDS will be issued. Refunds shall not be issued for late arrivals, early departures, or inclement weather conditions including hurricanes and named storms. We do offer optional travel insurance which we highly encourage all guests to purchase.

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING: Guests receive a “starter pack” of laundry detergent, dish washing detergent, one trash bag per trash can, and travel-sized shampoo, conditioner, and soap per bathroom. Starter supplies are not intended to last for the duration of your stay. Linens are furnished but please bring your own beach towels.

Nice place, close to the beach

The property was nice, pool and beach access was great. Easy access to shopping, food and activities. The check in process was not great. The unit wasn’t ready and we had to wait about 45 minutes for entry. After a 12 hr drive that was frustrating

Great location for families

Great location for small kids. Walk right out the door to the pool and toward the beach. As a former house flipper, needs some paint and cosmetic work but well above average for most condos at the beach. Only negative: bring your own ice because Phoenix properties will charge $6 on site.

Great condo for family beach vacation - easy beach access

My husband, five children and I stayed for Easter weekend 2024 and it was great! The kids had a great time and so did I. Kitchen cooking equipment was decent for a rental, but should be aware that it is not stocked with anything (no basics like salt or pepper even). The building and unit are very quiet and well insulated. Would absolutely book again.

Phoenix east 009- very disappointed and disgusted

The property initially lacked cleaning upon arrival as we arrived after 6 pm. After speaking to the property manager, happily and promptly they remedied the sheets on all three beds. It wasn’t until we cooked breakfast and showered to reveal the utter filth in this unit. From a broken toilet made worse after maintenance, black mold on floor tiles and showers,toothpaste all over the bathroom, to filthy coffee cups and red pasta sauce on most of the utensils, we felt disgusted the entire vacation. We couldn’t even use the cooking utensils out of one drawer, where they were clearly stuck to the wood with food residue. Having spoken to other guests here, it is clear no one checks the failed work of the cleaning crew Just disgusting. I hope someone checks the “reassurance” of their worse than garbage cleaning crews and actually looks at the units themselves. Cockroaches were dead along the floor of my children’s closet. Never ever coming back. Again.

Unmet potential

This property could be really nice if it was maintained and cleaned. If the property manager would add updated pictures, you would see dirty walls, gross grout and cracked tiles in the floors, and dirty furniture. When I contacted the property manager about the lack of cleanliness upon our arrival, they offered to have it cleaned, but too little too late. Is it fair for me to pay for a clean and maintained rental property and spend hours unable to use it while they do what should be done regularly? I have young kids who take naps and also didn’t feel comfortable having 3 different vendors coming to clean the walls and steam the floors, rugs and furniture. Unfortunately we had to endure the filth as we had already paid in full trusting the property would be what the listing portrayed. If there was a place to add photos, I have an entire file documenting the condition of the condo when we arrived.

NO WARNING ABOUT BEACH RECONSTRUCTION

AS A PREVIOUS OWNER I WAS MADE WELL AWARE IN ADVANCE OF ANY CONSTRUCTION GOING ON IN OR AROUNC OUR UNIT. BEACH REFUBERSHIMENT NOT MENTIONED BEFORE GOING. COULD NOT REACH THE OCEAN BECAUSE OF A LARGE 3 FT PIPE ACROSS THE ENTIRE BEACH PROPERTY AND COULD NOT CROSS IT TO GET TO THE WATER. WITHOUT WALKING 1/4 MILE DOWN THE BEACH. PUMPING NASTY WATER IN FRONT OF THE CONDO. SHOULD HAVE BEEN TOLD THIS PRIOR TO OUR BOOKING THE UNIT.

Spring break

Nice stay. Love the ground floor with kids! Only reason I put 4 stars for check in process is because they wouldn’t even entertain me checking in earlier than 4pm and no one stayed in the condo the night before. I was even willing to pay extra so we could get in earlier. In my opinion it’s money lost for the owners because we will not stay again only because of how strict they are with check in time.

Poolside condo

We enjoyed being right by the pool and easy access to the beach. Condo could have been cleaner (i.e. floors, silverware) but good enough and not worth a call to the property manager. I have mainly used online accommodation services like vrbo when the owner manages a property so having a property manager was a new and less personal experience. The condo is supplied with the minimum. No toaster. We brought extra toilet paper, laundry and dishwasher pods as what is supplied did not meet the needs of our group of 5 much less 8 people which is the capacity of the condo. Toilets were not flushing and the issue was resolved though contacting the property managers after hours is not achieved through the vrbo app but other questions were answered in the app during business hours so keep this in mind. The convenience of this condo by the pool was wonderful. Two parking passes are allowed with this condo so this would have been helpful to know in advance if you're staying at a busy high capacity time.

Great for single family with 3+ children

This property was in a fantastic location and had easy access to pool and beach. There are two restrooms which is plenty but they are both in each of the bedrooms. If you're taking a "guy on the couch" they will have to come through your room at night to go. This is the reason I titled this location "Great for a single family with 3+ children".

Girls trip celebrating our 60th birthdays

Very convenient location! Our condo was on the main floor so we didn’t have to use elevators daily which took along time. Over all it was our condo was stocked pretty good but did Not have a Toaster or Pot holders!! Nicely decorated!
