Our unique, contemporary Marina apartment is a special place to treat yourself to an indulgent holiday in the Bay of Islands. New and fresh, it is one of only 3 apartments in the Opua Marina. Enjoy water views over the marina and watch the comings and goings of yachts and launches from around the globe.

The apartment is over 2 levels, on the second and third levels of the building and is fitted out with quality european appliances and furnished with an eclectic collection of New Zealand art and objects.

Access is by keyless entry to the lower level where you'll find a huge lounge, kitchen & dining and bathroom. A deck with gas BBQ overlooks the marina. There is a smart TV, eat-as-much-as-you-like broadband wifi and bluetooth Harmon Kardon speakers.

The top level has an office desk, an absolutely luxurious super king size bed (and king size pillows) with 400 thread Royal Doulton percale linen. There is a huge space to flop into a bean bag or a comfy chair and read from the huge collection of books.

There are 2 dedicated carparks immediately adjacent to the apartment and you are of course welcome to bring your own boat - there are always marina moorings available in the off-season, and in the peak summer season if you book well in advance. There is also a boat ramp 50 metres from the apartment if you bring a trailer boat.

If you don't feel like self-catering in our very well appointed kitchen, within easy walking distance are superb fish and chips, the Opua Cruising Club bar and restaurant (open to the public) and amazing sandwiches and cabinet food from the Opua General Store (which also do pizza on Friday and Saturday evenings).

Opua is just 10 minutes away from the bustling tourist town of Paihia and a further 5 minutes to historic Waitangi. And you will have a 1 minute drive to the car ferry which gives you access to the beautiful town of Russell.
