Casa Formosa is located less than 10 minutes drive from the vivid fishermen town of Olhão in a calm valley with evergreen hills. We called the house so, because from the property, you got an amazing view to the lagoon Ria Formosa, particularly from the roof terrace of the "Studio".

Casa Formosa is right in the middle of a 7000 square meter plot with an old tree population. Into three directions the land declines to the valley, so each unit has its own private area. The "Studio" for instance has its own roof terrace of 120 square meters dimension. So no problem to have discreet holidays.

In the eastern part of the estate there are the very busy owners living. They help with words and deeds, will be a good neighbour to you, and at the same time they will absolutely respect your privacy.
They took their fist-hand professional experience in mediating holiday accommodations and realized plenty of their ideas at Casa Formosa . The conception was been planned for years and in 2013 finalized. The result became a very comfortable holiday house with very well considered details and snugly atmosphere…

The "Studio" has on the north side of Casa Formosa a private access directly from the parking lot. In addition to a nice tiled bathroom with shower, a French bed (140x200) and two comfortable leather chairs, it also offers a small but well-equipped kitchen, making it a fully-fledged self-catering accommodation.
To the south is the private terrace with wooden floor and pull-out shade roof. Comfortable furniture and a barbecue complete this summer living room.

While the guest garden is reserved only for the "apartment", the huge furnished roof terrace with a panoramic view of the valley and the sea is exclusively available to the guests of the "studio". Only the parking lot and the utility room with washing machine are shared with the guests of the "apartment".

Worth mentioning, that Casa Formosa is also good to rent during cooler season, because all rooms has wall heating (working with infra-red, under decorative tiles).

In case you are more than 2 people or like to have more in and outside space, you could be more interested in the Casa Formosa – “Apartment” (see object number 2119019), which is next to the “Studio”. It has a own entrance, two bedrooms, a private garden of 1500 square meters and much more.

Casa Formosa´s surrounding is quite nice to stroll up and discover the nature, there is a plenty to observe. Up from the hill on the back side of the casa, you got a fantastic view over the Ria Formosa, the Atlantic and the fishermen town of Olhão. Especially by night it is very romantic, when the city lights, the illumination of the island villages, the lighthouse and the stars are shining.

In walking distance (30 minutes) you can reach the small lagoon beach of "Praia dos Cavacos". But we do recommend a car, going to the bigger beaches, shopping or sightseeing. Holiday guests who like to spend a more active leisure time, could do all this also by bicycle.
