Beach Vacation Getaway

Looking for a getaway for your friends, family or multi-family? Look no further than our beach house in Old Orchard Beach. This home is situated in a quiet neighborhood. It can easily accommodate 10 guests with 4 plus bedrooms, two full bathrooms, a sofa bed and a futon. There’s also wireless internet access, air conditioning and ceiling fans in main living spaces. This home provides a welcoming relief from what hotels and motels offer... togetherness.... The open floor plan offers large kitchen that adjoins a dining room. Step into the living room and you’ll find a brightly natural lit living room with plenty of space to relax.

Main floor hosts the master bedroom with queen bed and a master bath. Head upstairs and you will find the the 2nd bedroom with a 1 twin bed and 1 full bed. The 3rd and 4th bedrooms have full beds. At the end of the hall, you’ll find another full bath.

Extend your gatherings to the backyard deck equipped with a gas grill, and a shaded area for outdoor dining. The traditional cottage and no-frills decor add to the warmth and no pressure relaxing theme. When you are ready, Old Orchard Beach’s seven miles of sandy beach is just a quick 5 minute walk away. There is nothing like watching the sun rise or taking a nice walk to relax you. After your day at the beach, you are a ten minute walk from Palace Playland, Maine’s only beach front amusement park. Restaurants and shopping are plentiful and will satisfy everyone’s cravings. If you would like to take a drive, Kennebunkport and Portland are 20-30 minutes away.

Unfortunately my husband and I were unable to go because he was unexpectedly hospitalized the morning of August 2. Our daughters and their families had a wonderful time though. They loved that the beach was so close. And Pier French Fries too! The beach paraphernalia the host provides is very thoughtful and welcomed. My family thoroughly enjoyed their stay!

Beauty and the Beach

The home we stayed in was a Beauty , wonderful in a million ways. close to the beach, a cart so you can pack it full of fun things to take to the beach. walking distance to food and the fabulous fun pier. Beauty had a welcoming feel , cozy , clean and everything needed for a fun family vacation and our dog loved it to. parking was great and the backyard was a plus.10 STARS IN MY BOOK !

Close to beach and train tracks

Overall, our stay was pretty good. The host was very responsive and helpful. The main floor was great with a decent size kitchen and living room as well as a master bedroom and bathroom. The upstairs was very tight with 3 tiny bedrooms and a tiny bathroom. The backyard had a nice patio section with a grill but the rest of it had some sad looking grass. The house is located very close to the train tracks which was a really frustrating alarm clock multiple times in the night (the kids loved watching the train though). The location of the house to the beach was great, a very short walk which was nice. Overall, it was a decent stay for the price. We enjoyed a week of family time. Thank you for hosting us!

Great beach escape

This property was just perfect for our annual family get away. It was accurately described in the listing and photos, had everything we needed, and gave us plenty of space inside and out. The new deck was a pleasant surprise. We would not hesitate to book again.

Perfect beach house

Perfect location right down the block from the beach, short walk to the boardwalk with carnival rides, games and arcade. Perfect for family’s or as we were a group of friends there were fun bars we could walk to as well.

A Summer Vacation

When we arrived everything was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Second day, new dishwasher wouldn’t work. Called owner, had electrician come and fix it very quickly. It’s a nice area, quick to get to golf, the pier and everything OOB has. The only thing is the train is a little unsettling at first, but you get used to it. Enjoy

Wow wow wow!

This was our second stay at this property and wow! So many updates have been made to the property since our last stay new appliances, and furniture just to name a few. The beds are super comfortable and the towels and linens are high quality. The backyard is very comfortable for relaxing after a day at the beach. Our little one really enjoyed the water table in the backyard. We had a couple of rainy days during our stay so we made good use of the puzzles and games that are available. Thanks for a great stay!

Great location lots of space

We had a great stay. The house was large and we were very comfortable there. The beds were all super comfortable and each bedroom had an a/c. The location to the beach was perfect, a 5 minute walk. The walk to the pier took us about 10 minutes. The train goes by often but honestly it never disturbed us. We would most definitely stay here again.

Fun place kids!

The cottage was cozy and comfortable. Each evening, we walked East Grand Avenue for ice cream or other entertainment. We were a 5 minute walk to the beach which was convenient. Plenty of parking on the street. The train was a bit annoying at 4:30 a.m. but the kids liked watching it!

Orchard Beach Gem

The great location allowed for our young teens to play miniature golf and the amusement park on their own, and we all loved the close proximity to the beach. The family-friendly house included games for the kids, a new grill and excellent laundry facilities. Our host was so responsive and caring. We look forward to returning!

Even better than expected!

We throughly enjoyed our stay! The house was very comfortable and nicely decorated. We were pleasantly surprised with the size of the living room and kitchen photos just don’t do it justice. Beds were comfortable. Linens and towels all seemed to be very new. The hose outside by the stairs was nice to rinse feet and beach toys. The kitchen was well equipped to cook just about anything. We didn’t spend too much time outside at the house but the patio area is very nice shaded space to relax on after a day on the beach. We traveled with our senior dog. The house stayed nice and cool during the day so we were not concerned leaving her in the house while we were at the beach :) This house is a short walk to the beach and walkable to the pier area. For us it was close enough to the action but also far enough away. We would definitely stay here again!

Comfy and cozy!

We loved our stay! SUPER cute cottage with a nice big living room and open concept with kitchen. We were able to grill out back and sit outside with Family and friends. Theres a local pub right up the road with delicious food! Beach is just a few minute walk. Plenty of parking space. Only downfall is the train tracks close by. But that wouldnt stop us from staying here again! You wont be disappointed!

Family Vacation 2021

We would definitely go back , the house was clean, perfectly located and for our huge family of 8 we all fit perfect ! The kids loved the fireworks on the beach, great fishing and most of all we are all Medical professionals on a well needed rest time it was quiet at night . The kids loved putting coins on the railroad track and waited to hear it coming thru the front as they ran down after to get their coins ! Great memories ! Thank you !
