Both Uber and Lyft operate in the Old Fort area, offering convenient transportation options. Please note that pickup times may be longer than in larger cities, so it`s advisable to schedule rides in advance when possible.

Public Transportation:
The McDowell Transit Department provides public transportation services. To schedule a ride, call them at least one hour before your desired pickup time. Please note that all rides must be scheduled by 10 a.m. the day before and canceled at least 2 hours before the scheduled pickup time.

3. *In case of Waivo insurance* We will charge a small, non-refundable damage waiver fee to cover any potential accidental property damage during your stay. This fee replaces the traditional security deposit.

4. We would like to inform you that for direct bookings, a 4% credit card fee will be applied to any cancellations and refunds and we will follow the platform`s cancellation policy

5. Guests acknowledge that they will keep their noise level to a minimum after 10:00 pm; please be respectful of the neighbors

6. No parties or events allowed
**If small events are allowed: We welcome small, calm gatherings such as baby showers, family birthdays, and similar events. However, all events must be pre-approved in advance. Please provide details, including the number of guests and duration, for consideration. Large parties, loud gatherings, or disruptive events are strictly prohibited. Guests are responsible for ensuring all attendees respect house rules and neighborhood quiet hours. Unapproved events may result in cancellation of the reservation

7. Guest must provide us with a valid working phone number & guests listed on the reservation must report to us within 2 hours from the time of arrival if anything in regards to cleanliness does not meet their standards so we can help address the situation as soon as possible

8. NO SMOKING or use of fire permitted in the rental; guest acknowledges that no `smoking` includes the use of vape pens and marijuana and `use of fire` includes the lighting of candles, incense, or sage. There will be a $200 charge per day of reservation if this rule is not followed

9. There can not be any more than the allowed number of guests in or on the property at any one time, violation could lead to the immediate removal of all guests without a refund

10. Late check-out fee of $50 (if not authorized) applies for check-outs after 11:00 am. We`re sorry we have to charge this but we pay our housekeepers based on the agreed-upon checkout time and if they are unable to clean we still have to pay them

‱Please disclose pets at the time of booking. All pets must be added to your reservation so the applicable pet fee can be applied.

15. Please remember to take all of your belongings with you upon checkout. Any items left behind will incur a $50 Mailing fee (separate from the cost of postage). We will do our best to send your items back to you within a week

16. If not following any of our rules forces us to refund or discount an upcoming or existing guest you will be liable for the costs
