Take advantage of this dreamy district with sidewalks throughout. Whether taking a stroll through the park or exploring its shops and community hang outs, you will enjoy the walkable experience that The Scissortail provides.

Downtown OKC and Wheeler District views set the stage. Guests will relax in this newly constructed 600 square foot space with 10 foot ceilings and large sunlit windows. Upgrades include beautiful oak hardwood flooring, well appointed kitchen and bathroom design, a full walk-in shower with frameless glass surround, and stylish decor embellished with a touch of local art from some of our favorite artists. With solar panels and geothermal systems, guests will enjoy this eco-friendly stay.

The Scissortail is equipped with a washer and dryer, memory foam mattress for comfortable sleep, fully stocked kitchen with stainless steel appliances, and a 55” HD Smart TV. Although best suited for two, a twin air mattress is available upon request.

The space is private and located on the backside of the host’s personal home. As your hosts, we will not interact with you unless something is needed; however we are always available and love to share our favorite OKC recommendations with our guests!

The Scissortail’s private entrance is a keypad entry door located on the back of the home off the alley. All on-street parking is public in the Wheeler District providing guests with easy access to their entrance.

Guests will enjoy all of Wheeler District’s wonderful parks, venues, restaurants and shops including the Wheeler Ferris Wheel. Access to the OKC River Trails system and public bus system is a short walk away, and the OKC Streetcar is found downtown passing key landmarks and the entertainment districts of Downtown OKC, Bricktown, Midtown, Automobile Alley, Scissortail Park and more. Electric scooter stands and Spokie bikes are available at Scissortail Park.
