We are Chris and Jennifer Holloway, we're a family of five fueled by a love for each other & travel. Our hope is that our properties become your go-to retreats. Not if you are serious about kayaking

The cabin was clean, comfortable and quiet for sleeping. Our main purpose was kayaking and titling this "Pelican's Nest~Caddo Lake Cabin 3 with Kayaks!" is a little misleading. The kayaks (1 regular and two very small) are shared among 4 cabins and RVs at the location. The launch is not owned by the cabin owner and across the street and down the road 1,000+ feet. Luckily we became aware of the kayak situation when I asked the owner after already booking and we brought our own. The air conditioner did not efficiently cool the cabin. It was fine for our October visit but I can imagine in the summer it would be grueling.

Great place

The cabin was close to everything that we wanted to do but was very quiet. It was very clean and had everything that we needed. The owners were super helpful and made sure we had everything taken care of and was happy. We will definitely go back and also check out some other places they have. FIVE STAR rating for sure!!!

Metal building converted to a very small cabin. Bed was not a queen. No lake view from the porch. We got there at after 9 and the cabin was like a steam oven. No place to hang our clothes. This would be okay for a man on a fishing trip but not good for a couple get away.

This cottage is perfect for a couple for the weekend. The cottage was clean and neat and very nicely decorated. It had everything we needed and was in a very quiet neighborhood.

Great getaway

My parents spent a lovely few days at the cabin and raved about the view over the lake and the scenery in the area. Jennifer was a great host, checking in with us to make sure all was okay and making sure to turn on the heating before arrival.
