Cette maison est l'unitĂ© infĂ©rieure d'un duplex sur la plage Ă  Oceanside, en Californie. Il dispose de 3 chambres et 3 salles de bains avec un grand porche donnant sur l'ocĂ©an. La zone commune dispose d'un foyer, idĂ©al pour les nuits d'Ă©tĂ© en famille! À distance de marche de la jetĂ©e Oceanside et du port Oceanside pour d'excellents magasins, restaurants et excursions en bateau. Cette maison peut Ă©galement ĂȘtre louĂ©e avec l'unitĂ© supĂ©rieure qui est une unitĂ© de 4 chambres Ă  coucher et 3 salles de bain. Les deux unitĂ©s combinĂ©es sont idĂ©ales pour les grandes rĂ©unions de famille.

Nice get-away

Relaxing, awesome ocean view from both outside patio area and thru big windows if inside. Had our 2 dogs with us who enjoyed the large yard and a place to zonk out after getting back from Del Mar dog beach about 20min south. No sand by house unless you walk toward the pier, but didnt miss it.

Great location

The condo was very clean and nicely furnished. We loved the sight and sound of the ocean so close. We did have an issue with the dishwasher, but one phone call and someone came and fixed it within about 30 minutes.

Fabulous location

We really enjoyed the outdoor space. Looked sitting and listening to the ocean. We saw a whale bow and saw lots of dolphins! The rooms were very spacious and everything we needed was there. Would love to stay at this place again!

Beautiful

This condo could have everything you could ever need and more. The kitchen is fully stocked, all you need are snacks and things you may want to prepare. But they have dishes and utensils, coffee pots and mugs - I'm sure there was more there that we didn't use. They have 2 sets of washer and dryers and they also provide laundry pods and bleach tablets. The showers all have shampoo, conditioner and body wash dispensers. The living room AC didn't work the greatest but that was OK because we kept the doors open most of the time. We are from Kansas where bugs outnumber the humans and there were 0 bug issues while we were there, even with the doors open. I did notice in Cali, a lot of windows don't have screens because there aren't a lot of issues with bugs flying in. The AC in the master bedroom worked wonderfully. The firepit was amazing and the stairs to the beach, while a little daunting, were nice during low tide so we could walk the beach and walk in the surf. I would definitely stay here again. And again. And again.

Fun beach vacation!

The place itself is beautiful. It was very clean, and the yard was so nice for our kids to run around in. The view was spectacular! However, we had issues getting the right parking spot. They gave us the wrong code, and one of the garage doors wouldn’t even go up. The parking spot was so small we could barely fit our mini van through. I have no idea how anyone would fit a large truck or suv. But we managed to figure it out, and had a wonderful time. Would ultimately stay here again!

Perfect Location

We rented this property for Ironman 70.3 Oceanside. It was on the run course, ocean front, walking distance to the finish line, and a quiet neighborhood. It was the perfect spot! The Condo itself was clean with a fully stocked kitchen, great for cooking in a few times. The master bedroom was incredible and we had plenty of space. Highly recommend. Just know it's a little tricky to get down to the actual beach.

We’re local and this felt like a vacation!

Our family celebrated our daughters 12th birthday at this awesome property and it could not have been more perfect. There is a “suite” with bunk beds, bathroom, game table and more beds that the kids really enjoyed. The kitchen and living area are huge with views of the ocean. You can walk across the little street to a sand beach. We played a lot of Bach games then came back to bbq and cook s’mores. No complaints at all! Again, we live in Encinitas and this place felt like we flew to Hawaii for the weekend!

Wont find a more peaceful place

Anything you find on the inside of this property is simply bonus compared to sitting on the deck and watching the sea and the sunsets. So very peaceful. Inside is definitely nice. Could use a few minor repairs but nothing that distracted from the trip or caused an issue. Would definitely stay again. Lots of restaurants nearby. Though we opted to grill on the deck to enjoy the view.

Fraud, Filth, & Infestation: Buyer Beware

The bottom line: Do not stay here, or in any Beachfront Only property. Take a few minutes to research Beachfront Only Vacation Rentals, including the Better Business Bureau. I wish I had done this before I booked. They have a shameful reputation with renters and in the communities where they do business. Sure, the view is glorious. But it isn’t a great view with random strangers walking around your yard. You will have no privacy. The yard is shared with the upstairs neighbors and anyone that Beachfront Only sends to the property without warning. When we arrived the yard was not as pictured. It was covered in artificial turf while we were there, which did not offset the disruption and total lack of privacy of living in a construction zone. We just wanted our dog’s feet to not get tangled in weeds every time he went outside. Had I known that asking for weeds to be pulled would spark a construction project, I would have just spent an hour and pulled them all myself. They also added a fence that entirely blocks beach access. Had we known that the beach access promised in the property listing was not true, we would not have chosen this property. 1. No beach access, despite that the posting explicitly reads “BEACH ACCESS: 11-15 steps” 2. Strips of scotch tape with human hair stuck in it on the master bedroom wall. I ended up scratching this off the wall myself after asking 3 times to have it cleaned. Revolting. 3. Something dark brown smashed into living room rug. 4. Red stains on 2nd bedroom pillowcase. 5. Huge crusty yellow stain on living room throw pillow, along with other smaller stains 6. Window shades are filthy and one with red stains. 7. 2nd bedroom ceiling was crumbling and that bathroom sink takes hours to drain. 8. The yard “update” was left unfinished with large potted plants never returned to a proper position, a huge pot dirt and garbage left by the firepit along with an upended yard post in an orange pail. 9. No screens on 3 out of 4 beach facing windows. The only way to let the ocean air in is to open the door, which also brings in the bugs and lets out your pets or toddlers. 10. Filthy outdoor sofa. I wouldn’t even let my dog sit on it. 11. Artificial trees and plants are literally dripping with dust. 12. Garage was too small for my Cherokee. I got a citation for blocking street cleaning. The signs for street cleaning schedules are not posted near the unit. 13. And to top it all off, we had ants.

An Amazing time on the beach

Our family really enjoyed our week getaway in Oceanside at this beachfront property. The pictures are close to accurate but the salt, sand, water has done a number on the property (expected with being so close to the ocean). We loved being able to bring the dogs and walking to the pier and restaurants. We had a great time! FYI - Gardeners come on Tuesday mornings (early). And bottom unit has only one off street parking space.

Leaky roof and needs a sprucing up

My daughter woke up to a waterfall coming through the ceiling which we didn't appreciate when (after taxes and fees) we spent $1k per night. Also the trash can where you have to touch to open it was dirty so we felt gross using it. The backyard had confetti, trash, and weeds scattered everywhere and they need to dump more sand to match the photo but with a little sprucing up it'll be great 👍. Oh also, lots of sand was in our sheets (yuck) when we arrived.

Beach home

Very amazing property! Family friendly and lots of room insides. The only downfall is that there is no beach area to layout on the beach. The tide is always high and the water crashes right up to the rocks. If you are tall enough and a strong swimmer you can def jump in from The steps but if you have small children they will not be able to get into the office without parents holding them. Although the fire pit was amazing the thr hot tub was very useful

NYE at the ocean

Overall amazing experience. Set up is very conducive to a very pleasant ocean stay. Beds are good. Furniture good. Amenities good. Biggest issue is lack of beach. Water comes right up to the sea wall. So the ideal experience of beach to home is not possible. Hugely disappointing if that’s what’s you’re after as your model for your holiday. Outside of the buildings control, but you should know this.
