A restored 1888 boarding house and cafe in the heart of downtown Oceanside, The Brick Hotel has been reimagined into a modern day inn, a new kind of boutique hotel hidden above a tiki bar and below a rooftop bar. Locally owned and operated with contactless on-demand service and a digital concierge, guests are invited to self check-in to their next vacation.

Due to the multiple bars on-site, guests must be 21 years or older to book. On Fridays & Saturdays, the food and beverage concepts stay open until 12M and there is the potential for noise during hours of operation. We are a perfect fit for guests looking to enjoy a lively urban environment with several on-site dining options at your doorstep, while also being a short 4-block walk from the beach and pier.

Parking
- One (1) space is allocated per room
- Our designated parking is located 1.5 blocks away in the closest parking garage. Why not on-site? Our building (built in 1888) predates vehicles!
- Upon arrival, guests may pull into any spot in front of the hotel to unload luggage. A parking pass with space assignment and directions to our off-site lot will be awaiting guests in room.

Thursday Markets
- Every Thursday, Pier View Way (where the Brick is located) plays host to two outdoor markets. The Oceanside Farmers Market runs from 9AM-1PM. The evening Sunset Market (weather permitting) quadruples the AM market in size with a street fair that runs from 5PM-9PM offering a huge variety of dining options, local artisan stands and a live band.
- We do not have a front desk as our ground floor is occupied by a lobby bar. If checking in on a Thursday, our on-duty manager will send additional details via text message. We recommend arriving early as there will be congestion in the area. Feel free to text/call our manager should you have any questions.

Perfect stay!

This spot really impressed us! We sought simple accommodation that was close to everything and this was just right. The private entry and self checkin made it really easy to come and go when we arrived late. Bonus was the coupon for a cocktail and a coffee. Succulent Coffee is so cute! Perfectly appointed, great water pressure and great outdoor space. Close to the pier and restaurants.

Great Place Close to the Ocean

We really enjoyed our stay in Oceanside! Stayed there for one night. Enjoyed the Market right outside the Hotel and the beach was within easy walking distance. The only complaint we had was the shade isn't very dark. It seems to be only light filtering and it would've been nice to have black out curtains. Overall a great visit!

Great Little Spot

Clean, comfortable, and modern. Walking distance to everything in downtown Oceanside. Very easy communication with the property manager at every point from prebooking to post checkout. Would definitely stay again to take advantage of all the attached restaurants. Book here and you won't be disappointed.

Great property!

This was a great property with perfect location. Walking distance from beach and many shops and restaurants. We had appetizers at the rooftop Cococabana and then dinner downstairs at the Q&A Oyster restaurant and both were amazing. Staff for property and at restaurants were excellent. Would definitely stay here again!

We are Dan Diego natives who just needed a weekend escape. This was the perfect spot. The room was super cool. Loved the beach boho decor. Great bathroom and deck. We loved the fact this boutique hotel had a restaurant and bar. Both were doing great business. Seem to be very popular. We loved the rooftop bar and heard from two friends of ours that it was a cool spot. Close to the beach and other restaurants, we will definitely be back. Great text communication with property managers and easy to checkin and out a plus!

Best location, fun place, great ammenities. A great experience.

The checkin process was fun and easy. With it all done by text, I was surprised how responsive and supportive the management team was. The directions to parking were great and the whole stay was memorable. The media in the room was great! Easy to use and a big bonus. I highly recommend this fun downtown place to stay and appreciate the beauty and fun atmosphere that is unique to Oceanside.

Central, Beautiful, Noise Issue

Beautiful 10-room boutique hotel centrally located in the renovated area of downtown Oceanside; tons of restaurants, coffee shops, etc., all within about 2 blocks. Best coffee is Banana Dang, which also has vegan smoothies. Walk to pier & beach 4 blocks. Bed was only a full size, not a queen or king. Toilet flush from bar above the room very noticeable...kind of a detractor. Soon to be finished with a roof bar above the 3rd floor rooms and a ground floor bar below the 2nd floor rooms. Room came with earplugs, which I did not take as a good sign upon arrival. Overall, really enjoyed the stay but I have concerns over noise once the two (very nice / chic) bars are fully operating.

What a refreshing breath of fresh air. The Brick Hotel was Amazing. Our room was stunning,

Eventhough it was a soft opening, it was beautiful. We had a tour of the up and coming top floor bar and grill. The view was beautiful. We can't wait to go back for a weekend. The owners were friendly, the surrounding areas were beautiful and so much to do. Frankies is a must. As well as Stone Brewery. We can't wait to go back.
