This is a perfectly fine home, was very clean and the owner was responsive. But this house would be best for people that basically just plan to sleep there. My family and I met at the house for Thanksgiving as it was equidistant between our place and my fatherâs. We just wanted to have a nice family gathering, play games, watch movies, cook turkey dinner, etc. The living room furniture was hard as a rock and one chair had a bolt loose so you couldnât sit in it without falling to the floor.I never expect much in a rental kitchen and packed accordingly but this was the worst Iâd ever seen. One tiny pot, one tiny frying pan, and one strange combo of a pot/pan. All three were covered in baked on food that could no longer be scrubbed off. The casserole dish looked like it had been through a fire. There were not enough forks for four of us to even have two meals without having to wash forks. No kitchen towels. No toaster. Everything that was there was covered in hard water stains that made them look dirty. There were dirty mugs in the cupboard when we got there. The bathrooms are nice but few towels and one had a hole in it. There was no bathmat in the downstairs bathroom. No wash cloths. The bedrooms were nicely decorated but the beds were also extremely hard. Train tracks and rooster next door were noisy.
