Perfect oasis

This house is the perfect place to escape to. Close walk to the beach. Only downfall is the pool is in the shade til mid/late afternoon and to heat it is very costly but a must.

Fantastic beach home

We had a wonderful stay with great friends and families and very much appreciated the two living spaces, two dishwashers, and great layout of the home. It accommodated our group perfectly and we hope to plan another visit there next year! Great communication with the property manager and no problems at all during our stay. Thank you!!

Gorgeous House!

We loved this house, the decor, the pool and amenities, and it was an easy 2-3 minute walk from the beach. Owners were very responsive with any questions or requests. Beautiful views of sunrise and sunset! We enjoyed our stay and would love to visit this house again!

Great views and plenty of space

Just a 2 minute walk to the beach, with seven bedrooms and seven baths. The house has plenty of room to get away and not feel crowded. The house faces the intercoastal waterway and is towards the East end of the island, which makes it feel secluded. Having its own private pool with bar and game room, makes the perfect setup and stay. There are plenty of board games around the house and the kitchen has everything that you need to cook or eat with. Two refrigerators, two mini fridges and an ice maker and a wine cooler make things easy. The garage also has several beach chairs umbrellas and sand toys to use. The host was quick to respond with any concerns or questions that I had. My only negative would be the linen service doesn't give you any hand towels for the bathroom or kitchen.

Disappointed with kitchen stove, ice maker and second refrigerator

The house accomodations and location were wonderful but we were unable to use the oven as you would expect to be able to do in this well equipped house because the oven knob was broken and nonfunctional. We were expecting to cook all our meals for 14 using a fully operational stove and oven. We tried to contact the host but never heard back from her regarding our concern about the oven. Additionally the ice maker and second refrigerator daily tripped the breaker switches causing these needed appliances to malfunction without daily checking the electric panel to keep them cooling as expected. Before we rented this home we talked to host regarding two reviews expressing disappointment with broken oven and were told the oven had been fixed and everything was operational! We were really disappointed with the host's lack of attention to our concerns and hope that the owners of this beautiful new home would address our concerns so that future renters would not encounter similar inattention. We contacted VRBO for help in contacting the host and they were likewise unable to talk to the host. We enjoyed our week with family but were truly disappointed with our ability to cook for them as we had planned. When amenities are listed, renters should expect them to be operational especially when the problem has been noted in at least two previous rentals.

Great house but poorly managed

The house was beautiful and in a great location. We rented the house for the week of Christmas. A month before we arrived at the house I contacted the rental manager to ask what kind of kitchen supplies were available. I did not ever get a response. The kitchen has lots of tools and gadgets, however, the oven was broken. We contacted the rental manager and they said they would send someone out as soon as possible. We never heard back and no one was sent throughout the week to fix the oven. We were unable to use it throughout the week. In previous reviews dating back to July, there were reports that the oven was broken. We were very disappointed this had not been handled, and would have not expected this. On top of this, the wine coolers did not work (they did not get cold and they continuously beeped until we turned them off completely). Additionally, there were not enough towels for everyone - there were only large bath towels and washcloths. When I asked the rental manager if there were additional towels available I never heard back. The rental description mentioned a golf cart available for use, but when we arrived at the house we were informed that we had to pay extra to use it. The property manager was not available throughout the week and there were many things that were poorly communicated. Would stay here again only if the property was managed by someone else.

We enjoyed our stay very much, there were a couple of issues, the oven knob is broken so we weren't able to use the oven and it took 2 days to get access to the ping pong table. Over all a very nice house and a great place for our family to gather.

Wonderful place!

This house was AWESOME! Huge, clean, pool, and well decorated! Everything about this house was great. The kids enjoyed the pool. I would highly recommend this place. GREAT LOCATION!

Fun Family Home!

This home is very large and super convenient! Tons of beds! A few beds did not have mattress protectors and were stained. The top level king bed was super hard and very uncomfortable. Having the commercial ice maker was such a bonus! Kitchen is well stocked but we did have an issue with the oven. The knob was broken off and missing pieces. We cook all our meals so this was very disappointing. The gas grill seemed to have difficulty keeping a flame even though the tanks were full. I contacted VRBO and our host and was told they would try to send someone to fix the oven. No one ever showed up and the host never got back in touch to see if the problem was resolved. In the future I will stick with Sloan or Williamson Realty for our rentals. Again, this really is an awesome house but I was hoping to be able to use oven.

Awesome Beach Trip

Oceans Twelve was a wonderful home. The owners have included many little extras that were greatly appreciated. The kitchen was very well stocked. Likely the best we have had in our 15 years of renting vacation homes. The weather was great and proximity to the beach worked well. Our three grandkids loved the beach and the pool! We would definitely consider returning to Oceans Twelve.

The house is lovely, with plenty of room for our family of 16 to spread out and enjoy the week. We prepared and ate all our meals at the house. Having such a well-appointed kitchen made it easy. We were all able to eat in the same room, at the same time-a big plus for us. There were some snags and because of the holiday, they were not resolved while we were there. Overall we all had an incredible “beach week” and will consider renting this property again.
