Welcome to Seashell Cove; a fully remodeled beach cottage that is the ideal of style and functionality. The reinvented outdoor space, thoughtful interior design, and welcoming atmosphere promises to be a haven for your relaxation and enjoyment. A 5 minute drive or a one mile stroll will have you enjoying the beautiful waves and sand of the beach at Oak Island. Or, stay close to home in your serene oasis in the woodlands. Visit Veterans Park on the Intracoastal just a block away. Here you can cast a fishing line from the public dock and enjoy a picnic as you watch boats and sea birds go by. 

The reimagined back yard features a screen porch that opens to a private retreat complete with a designer neon sign and TV, offering the perfect spot for evening relaxation. Gather round the cozy firepit out in the yard to share stories and enjoy smores on the charcoal firepit under the stars. The outdoor seating arrangement also includes the sweetest fringed hammock swings, adding a whimsical touch to the yard. 

The kitchen is designed as the central hub of activity. It seamlessly connects to both indoor and outdoor living areas, making it the ideal spot for meal preparation, casual dining, and socializing. Equipped with modern appliances and ample counter space, it caters to both seasoned cooks and casual entertainers. With fashion lighting, coffered ceilings, and saturated pops of color against a neutral background, this beach cottage features vibrancy and personality to every room, creating a cheerful and lively vacation experience.

Private Driveway fits 4-5 cars. Boats & trailers are not restricted!

Living Room: hand painted mural feature wall, comfortable sectional sofa, Smart TV, ceiling fan/light. Dining table seating 5.

Kitchen: granite counters, surfboard theme breakfast bar seating 4, stainless steel appliances, electric range, refrigerator/freezer, microwave, dishwasher, deep sink with pull spray faucet, coffee bar, fully equipped for cooking meals at home for 8 guests.

Primary Bedroom Suite: shiplap details, tray ceiling, king bed, Fire TV, dresser, nightstands & reading lamps, settee, dressing mirror, ensuite bath

Primary Ensuite Bath: double vanity with solid surface sinks & counters, step in shower with seat, massage spray faucet, toilet.

Queen Guest Room: queen bed, cushioned side chair, nightstands & reading lamps, dresser, Fire TV, ceiling fan/light.

Shared Hallway Bath: Bathtub and shower, single vanity, toilet.

Laundry room: Stacked washer and dryer.

Rental Policies:

In response to increased incidence of credit card fraud, a valid government photo ID will be required for every reservation. A signed rental agreement is required: accepting House Rules on any online travel agency requires reading and acceptance of our rental agreement.



Golf Carts are allowed at this property.



Arrival/Departure:

Summer Check-Ins (June-August) begin at 4pm and are guaranteed by 6pm

Check Out is by 10 am.

We adhere to this policy so please do not arrive early early or plan to delay your departure.

Pet Policy: No pets allowed



We want to make sure you’re aware of our cancellation policy. If you cancel when your arrival date is more than 60 days away, you will receive a full refund.  If you cancel when your arrival date is less than 60 days away, you will forfeit your deposit.



Things To Do:

Oak Island is known for its golden sand beaches, calming blue waters, friendly community, and close proximity to the cities of Southport, Wilmington, and Myrtle Beach. There are many cute island coffee shops, stores, breweries, and a park that showcases a splash-pad for summer fun! With a beautiful Golf Club open to summer travelers and over 100 public water access points, there is an abundance of all things adventurous to do on Oak Island! 



If you'd like to keep your fitness routine going while on vacation, you can get an out-of-town Gym pass at Oak Island Recreation Center. Utilize the Rec Center's ample parking, put in at the Kayak ramp and spend hours kayaking our beautiful marshes.  Sit on the lawn and enjoy a night off cooking at our Weekly Friday night "Summer Concert In The Park" with a couple of local food truck options at this family centric Live Music event. Beach Day takes place in Oak Island on the Friday prior to July 4th and features all day activities followed by fireworks on the island that evening.



Visit Historic Southport, a seafaring town just five miles from our island, for a bigger nightlife. Southport, at the confluence of the Cape Fear River and the Atlantic Ocean, features a variety of different restaurants, bars, live music and shopping. It is one of our favorite places to walk around and check out different food and live music on the weekends. There are free parking options all over town, and you can easily walk to dozens of places while enjoying the breeze from the riverfront and admiring historic homes and general store buildings that date back to the early 1800s. Southport's State Fourth of July Festival is a three-day street fair with artists from all over the state, vendors, and food. It is truly like being in an Andy Griffith episode with the parade and grand finale fireworks show over the river front in Southport.
