We absolutely loved this house. Itâs cute, well maintained, clean and in a great location. The proximity to the beach was amazing, and the deck was a highlight. The privacy screen between the neighbors pool area was such a thoughtful touch and made it feel much more relaxed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was well stocked for cooking, and overall you can tell the owners really care about the home. Weâd stay here again in a minute for that reason.That said, the rental company itself fell short. The house felt underprepared for guests. There was only one hand soap in the entire house, no dish soap or sponges, no cleaning supplies, and no toiletries. The beach chairs provided were broken and rusted, so not usable.Communication with the rental company was also disappointing. I asked about an hour earlier check-in and never received a response. When we arrived about 10 minutes before 4pm, we werenât able to get in. I called the office and was rudely told weâd have to wait, even though the house was ready and unoccupied. After a long day of travel with kids and dogs, that lack of flexibility and understanding was frustrating.Overall, the home itself is wonderful and clearly well cared for. The outdoor shower and gated decks were especially great after beach time with the dogs. We would definitely stay here again, but would hope for a much better experience with the rental company next time, especially when it comes to basic supplies and communication.
