Experience true coastal luxury at Canalside Blue Heron! This gorgeous home was completed in July of 2025 and offers guests upscale amenities including an elevated private pool with optional heating, private dock, kayaks, elevator and more. Soak in stunning canal views from the deck or walk to the beach in less than 15 minutes via the scenic crossover at 19th Place East.
The expansive open concept living area offers plenty of room for your crew to spread out. Gather in the living room to stream a favorite movie on the large smart TV or warm yourselves in the glow of the electric fireplace during the cooler months.
Neutrals and cool grays anchor this space, while pops of bright marine blue add a sense of playfulness and recall the homeâs namesake. The sturdy wooden dining table seats at least eight adults comfortably, with bench seating along one side for flexibility. Four additional seats are available around the kitchen island, perfect for more intimate meals or keeping the family chef comfortable as they cook.
The kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need to prepare meals during your stay, and under cabinet lighting adds to the brightness of this space. A half bath is located beside the kitchen for your convenience, along with a large laundry room that provides a stackable washer and dryer for your use.
When itâs time to retire for the evening, youâll find that each bedroom features a wall-mounted smart TV for personal entertainment. The master bedroom is furnished with a king bed and offers direct access to the back deck overlooking the pool. Wake up each morning to canal views and the cries of shorebirds! A huge walk-in closet offers plenty of storage space, and the attached private bath includes a double vanity and a roll in tile shower.
The second bathroom with a standard tub/shower combo is located in the hall and is shared by the remaining three bedrooms. The first two bedrooms are each furnished with a queen bed. The final bedroom is arranged as the ultimate kid hang out, with a twin-over-double bunk bed, a twin-over-twin bunk bed, fun sea-life themed bedding and even a stuffed friend or two!
Outside, the partially covered back deck offers a variety of furniture to lounge on as you watch the kids splash in the pool or simply enjoy the views. The elevated saltwater private pool is a truly peaceful oasis. Float your cares away to the peaceful soundtrack of singing birds and rusting marsh grasses even in the spring and fall - Pool heating may be added with advance notice for an additional fee of $100/day.
If youâre in the mood for adventure instead, head down to the private dock stretching into the canal below. Drop one of the three provided kayaks into the water or grab a chair on the covered gazebo and cast your line instead.
Under the home, youâll find an enclosed outdoor shower with hot and cold water along with plenty of parking for your vehicles, both in the driveway and under the house. Speaking of vehicles, this property offers an optional four seater golf cart complete with a local parking pass for an additional fee of $300 a week or $175 for stays of three nights. Explore the island in style and avoid getting sand in your own car with this convenient addition.
When youâre ready to hit the sand, a quick drive of five minutes or less is all it takes to reach the nearest public beach accesses. Or set off along the scenic overlook one street over and experience some of the best views (and nature-watching opportunities) on the island as you cross the canal and reach the sea in less than 15 minutes. Itâs maintained and cleaned year-round, so you can take a refreshing dip whenever you like. Note that the temperature control system (heating or cooling) is available at an extra fee of $100 per day for your entire stay and must be booked in advance to ensure it's ready for your arrival. Please contact the OIA office at least 24 hours prior to arrival to request pool heating or cooling and pay the required fee. Please note, due to the heat pump's limitations, heating is available only when the outdoor air temperature is above 50°F. The heated or cooled water temperature will generally be set to 85°F (but may vary depending on weather, wind, cloud cover and air temperature).
