ALL ABOUT THE INSIDE:
Kitchen: Large and spacious modern shaker kitchen with plenty of storage. There is an integrated fridge, freezer, eye level oven and combo microwave. Opposite this there is a 5-ring induction hob with pan drawers below. There is a kettle, toaster and Nespresso coffee machine. An integrated slimline dishwasher and washer/dryer complete this well equipped kitchen.

Lounge/Diner: Lovely dining table to seat everyone with double French doors looking out over the front garden. Two comfortable sofas are the perfect place to chill out after a days exploring and watch the large flat screen Smart TV. There is a coat and boot rack, side board, coffee table and display cabinet filled with books and games.

Bedroom 1: Wooden king size bed with matching bedside tables and lamps. A chest of drawers and wardrobe offer plenty of storage. A wall hung Smart TV for lazy mornings in bed and views from the window over the fields.

Bedroom 2: This room can be made up as a super king double or 2x 3' single beds. Another Smart TV in here, chest of drawers and views over the large garden.

Bathroom: Beautiful modern tongue and groove bath with waterfall shower and handheld shower head. Wash basin with LED sensor lit mirror, WC and large towel radiator.

ALL ABOUT THE OUTSIDE:

Pull up to the property and on to the shingle driveway through the 5-bar gate where there is parking for 2 cars. The front garden has a patio with further seating. There is 4.5ft picket fencing to each side and views over the fields from this direction.

To the rear of the property there is a fully enclosed garden with patio and large grassed area. There is a large dining table and chairs with cushions which stored in the shed where you can also store your bikes etc. The side fences are solid and over 5ft. The bottom of the garden is 3ft picket fencing with a second layer of chicken wire so is little dog proofed!

Perfect winter break

What a beautiful holiday let, Dormy has everything you need for a relaxing holiday perfect for both humans and dogs. Our weather was not the best but Dormy was so warm and comfortable it was like being at home, an amazing welcome pack for us and our dogs a garden just right for zoomies and the beach just a few minutes away who could ask for more. Dormy is definitely a five star property hopefully we will return.

Another fab stay.

Our second stay at the beautiful Dorny. The Welcome Packs for both humans and doggies were again excellent promoting local produce, which is a must for us. Fabulous location, doggies enjoyed their daily beach walks - we couldn’t do the usual numerous miles due to our senior boy (13) and senior girl (11) but they loved it. Still remains our plan to retire to beautiful Norfolk one day! My only negative is the road leading to the property has deteriorated since our previous stay, Thank you for a great stay.

Fab week at Dormy

We’ve just spent a fabulous week at Dormy. On our last visit to Cart Gap we made a point of seeking out Dormy so we were prepared for the uneven private road! As soon as we stepped into the cottage we knew we’d made the right choice. It was cosy, warm and welcoming, and the generous welcome pack was very much appreciated – especially the doggy treats for our Dalmatian, Watson. We were lucky enough to have sunny weather all week. Although we visited Winterton, Overstrand and Mundesley, our favourite walks were straight from the cottage to Sea Palling and Happisburgh. The garden is fully enclosed, which was perfect for our dog, and the sun reaches both the front and back gardens during the day. One of our favourite moments was watching the sunsets from the comfort of the sofa. We really couldn’t fault Dormy and would definitely love to return.

So nice, we came twice

A return visit to the cleanest Holiday accommodation I have ever experienced. Located so near to the beach, and the large garden with high fences is a delight for the dogs. The entire property has been planned with dogs in mind relieving anxiety for their owners.

Relaxing short break

This was our second stay at delightful Dormy (the first having been to avoid fireworks). We love the great location, so close to the beach so not needing to necessarily use the car, but also not too far to travel for a day out. Cannot fault the accommodation - clean, well presented and equipped, comfortable, wonderful welcome pack, plenty of local information provided. Everything dogs and humans could possibly need to enjoy a chilled and relaxing holiday.

A great place to stay


A great place to stay with dogs welcome. Dormy had everything we needed. Comfortable, warm and very well equipped. The access road is currently a bit challenging but I guess that’s not down to the property owners. Ample safe parking at the property. Being so near to a fabulous beach was for us a major advantage. Wouldn’t hesitate to go back.

A Wonderful Find

We stayed at Dormy for a week and wished it could have been longer. This is definitely one of the nicest dog friendly holiday homes we have stayed in. The accommodation was so comfortable, including the beds, very nicely decorated and everything was to a high standard and worked! The large garden was a big plus for the dogs too! We would definitely recommend a stay here.

Outstanding

Our holiday staying at Dormy was by far the best we’ve had. Dormy is an exceptional property, perfectly clean, well equipped, in a fantastic location so so close to a very peaceful beach. Dormy was extremely dog friendly, and with our dogs feeling right at home, allowed everywhere and supplied with lovely throws and beds and a lovely basket of goodies for the dogs and humans. The gardens were completely enclosed and safe. We have booked to return next year.

Peaceful, relaxing dog friendly cottage

The cottage was super clean, warm and well equipped. The beds were really comfy and there was an amazing welcome hamper for us with treats for our dog too! The whole cottage was really geared towards our dog which made our whole stay so much more relaxing. And the walks on the beach were literally a 2 minute walk away - and we were often joined on our walks by seals bobbing along in the waves. I highly recommend Dormy!

Hotel quality dog friendly home at the sea

We have stayed in this part of Norfolk before and love the area but it was our first time at Dormy. We were impressed with all the facilities in the cottage, comfy beds, very fluffy towels, all mod cons in the kitchen and a large comfy sofa that we could all fit on and relax. Everything was spotlessly clean and there’s a dish washer so no one has to wash up on holiday. You can hear the sea and the view out the front is lovely too, we enjoyed watching the large skeins of Pink-footed Geese every morning and small murmurations of Starlings too. We saw deer in the dunes at the back too, lovely to be surrounded by wildlife. The garden is large and secure so our dogs enjoyed exploring that too. We all felt very at home by the end of our stay and would love to visit again next year.

A great place for dogs

A great place for a holiday with our dog , everything was catered for even treats for Dexter and a welcome pack for us which was amazing, the bungalow was clean , spacious and the gardens were brilliant and safe to let the dog out. If you can't walk very far you do need a car to get you to places , the little cafe around the corner didn't open when we were there which was a shame as it comes highly recommended

Our dogs at Dormy

We and our Labs, loved staying at Dormy. Well appointed home with secure gardens and great access to the lovely beaches nearby. The welcome pack was excellent and got us off to a great start, once again East Ruston have got it righr. We will be back, the dogs are busy sulking now lol.

The perfect place!

Second time at Dormy. Such a bright, sunny and spacious place. The back garden is great too - totally enclosed and big grassy area so dogs are safe and secure to play and run around. Just a 2 min walk to the sandy track leading to the super beach. The best bit
 loved being able to hear the waves from the back garden.

Amazing Dormy!

We absolutely loved our stay at Dormy. The property is homely, cosy, light and airy. It was spotlessly clean, Dormy is really well equipped and beautifully furnished to a high standard. We received an amazing welcome pack for us and the dogs. Lovely rural views from the front of the property and can hear the sea from the back garden. A couple of minutes walk to the beach. Wonderful location and perfect for the dogs with a nice large, secure back garden.

Amazing place to stay ✚

We had the most amazing couple of days in Dormy with our teenage children and our pooch. The place has absolutely everything you could wish for, a real home from home. Furnished to a high standard, equipped with all that you and your dog could need. Made our first holiday with our dog stress free. The welcome pack was amazingly generous and so lovely to eat local produce. Lots of beautiful walks straight from the property and also local amenities all super friendly. 5 star property, we can't wait to return.

Perfect for Pointers

This accommodation exceeded our expectations. Newly refurbished with dogs in mind with careful attention to solid fencing and a double gate system. We could let our pointers bound around the back garden without worrying they could escape.
