There are 125 miles of tranquil waterways to navigate, with beautiful scenery and an abundance of wildlife. Regular boat races and a week-long regatta can also be enjoyed from the riverbanks during the summer. Plenty of walks and cycle tracks can also be accessed throughout the surrounding countryside and nature reserve. Wroxham, 4 miles, with a selection of waterside cafés, restaurants, pubs and a railway station serving Norwich and the coast. Wroxham is also home to the Bure Valley Railway, a miniature steam train, running back and forth to the popular market town of Aylsham.
