Pebble at Rock End, part of the Stay-Acadia collection, is a renovated studio loft in peaceful Northeast Harbor—one of Mount Desert Island’s most scenic villages. Walk to the marina, cafés, restaurants, galleries, public gardens and trails leading into Acadia National Park. Bike the Carriage Roads and visit beaches, Asticou Azalea, Thuya, Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Gardens, and Seal Harbor Beach—minutes away by car. A short drive from Bar Harbor, this retreat offers a full kitchen, cathedral ceilings, natural light, an exclusive landscaped outdoor lounge with chairs and fire pit along with shared fitness center access.

Pebble at 2 Rock End Road includes one designated private off-street parking space located to the left of the building. Additional free on-street parking is available nearby. From your parking spot, follow the gravel path around to the back of the building and ascend the exterior stairs to reach your private entrance - the first door at the top of the stairs.

Note: The back parking lot is reserved for our our office and long-term tenant parking and it gets very busy during business hours. Please be sure to park in the designated “Pebble” spot and not in the back-lot. Thank you for your understanding!

Summer on Mount Desert Island is vibrant and full of possibility. Hike or bike the Acadia Carriage Roads, take a horse-drawn carriage ride from Wildwood Stables, or enjoy classic popovers and tea on the lawn at Jordan Pond House. Hike to Bubble Rock for sweeping views of the mountains and coastline.

Head down to the Northeast Harbor Marina for boat tours, sailing charters, or ferry trips to the Cranberry Isles. Spend a sunny afternoon at Seal Harbor Beach, a local favorite for its peaceful atmosphere.

Garden lovers can stroll through the Asticou Azalea Garden, Thuya Garden, and the Abby Aldrich Rockefeller Garden, all in full bloom. For history and culture, don’t miss the Great Harbor Maritime Museum or the stately Brown Mountain Gatehouse.

In winter, Northeast Harbor becomes a serene, snow-covered village with a calm, cozy pace. Cross-country ski on groomed Carriage Roads, snowshoe Acadia’s trails, or enjoy peaceful winter hikes with ocean and mountain views all to yourself.

Lace up your skates at the Northeast Harbor Marina rink or on one of the nearby frozen ponds. Head indoors to the cozy Northeast Harbor Library, or grab a hot meal at the seasonal Community Café at the Neighborhood House — a local gathering spot on winter afternoons.

Back at the loft, enjoy the comfort of the heat pumps, natural light, and peaceful privacy. Winter here is perfect for guests who enjoy quiet getaways, outdoor adventure, or simply a chance to unwind and recharge.

The studio is located on the second and third floors and is accessed via a shared exterior staircase. Once inside, a private interior staircase leads up to the open-concept sleeping and living area.

Though the unit is part of a mixed-use building, it has been carefully soundproofed for a quiet and private stay.

A washer and dryer are available in the unit and we supply laundry detergent sheets and dryer sheets, along with high-speed Wi-Fi, heat/AC via heat pumps, and all the essentials for a comfortable visit.
