Family Shore House: Bring the kids and dogs!

Welcome to our family shore house! We can't wait to share this space with you, so that your family can start making Jersey Shore memories together too. This is a kid and dog friendly property. We know what it's like to need games and books for rainy days, dog shampoo at the ready to clean up the pup and more. We've got baby gear on site: outlet covers, crib, bath insert, and high chair. But, we've got things for the older kids too: a fun bunk bed room, boogie boards, and more. Oh, and we've got kennels, bowls, and clean up bags for Fido too. We know it can make a huge difference in getting out the door for your trip, when you don't have to bring all the kid/baby/dog gear with you. So, we try to provide all that we can so that you can arrive and just... Make yourself at home!


The front bedroom has a queen bed. The middle bedroom has a queen bed and a crib. The back bedroom is for the kids and features two sets of bunk beds (IE 4 twin beds total). The sun porch, located just off the living room, has an additional twin bed. And, yes---the living room couches are nice and long for those extra cousins who've come along on the trip! There's a vintage 1930s bathroom with a shower (warning: it's on the small side!) and a bathtub. There's also a convenient 1/2 bathroom as well.


We know what it's like to be on vacation with all the kids-- so, we made sure to outfit the dining room with a big table and lots of chairs to gather around. Feel free to cook a full meal in the kitchen or order from one of so-many great Jersey shore pizza spots during the on-season. During the off season... we have several diners and bagel spots to recommend! The living room is great for hanging out, playing games, and watching shows. There's also a TV in the sun porch. Feel free to hook up any video game consoles you bring along. And, help yourself to the collection of books and DVDs on site.


The backyard is fenced in for the puppies and kids to romp around, as well. Also, there's a washer/dryer in the kitchen so that you can keep the clothes and towels clean throughout your trip. Parking is plentiful in the driveway too.


Walk just a few blocks and you'll hit the world-famous Wildwood boardwalk and the stunning Atlantic coastline. Enjoy all that the area has to offer on foot, or hop in the car and you'll be in Cape May in about 15 minutes or Atlantic City in about 45 minutes.

**2025 Updates:**
1. Front bedroom now features a king size Tempurpedic bed

2. Living room has a comfy sectional and some fun imagination-play area (dollhouse and kitchen-set)

3. The dining room now has a twin sizeday bed fortge last minute extra cousin or friebd coming along to have a good place to rest. 4.The beach supply closet has even more boogie boards than before and our new/ gently used kids swimwear section is free to use! (Take what you need! Leave gently used items your kids outgrew this season.)

North Wildwood Vacation

Property was clean. Location is as advertised. The Host quickly responded to my questions and concerns. Prior reviews mentioned issues with ants. The Host had the property treated, and we had no problems.

Nice short stay

We only stood for one day. And the experience was good. It’s very clean if I did not take my towels, shampoo, soap, etc. it would have been provided which was nice to know. Communication was great all in all. I would recommend this house to be rented.

Advantages: The toys and board games in the living room are very suitable for children. Disadvantages: The hygiene and living environment are very poor. The water flow in the toilet and shower area is slow. The most serious problem is that there are many insects in their house. On the first day, only a few ants were found on the ground. On the second night, my friend and his daughter woke up in the middle of the night to change the diaper and found many ants crawling on the bed. There were also centipedes on the roof... We didn't sleep soundly all night

This house has character and felt very safe. The host clearly wants people to come in and have a good time. There are some improvements that would make this 5 stars.1 There was way too much furniture for the space. The front door was inaccessible without moving a giant console table, Thats where all the beach stuff was. There's a hallway that would connect the half-bath, bunk bed room, and the room with the crib. However because the crib room has 2 beds and a crib, that door cannot be opened either. The day bed in the dining room takes away the ability to walk comfortably around the dining table. 2 General house maintenance is in need of attention, though it also appears some of it has been worked on. There are holes in walls, uneven floors, cracked tiles etc. The ac window units don't really reach the kitchen and 1/2 bath area. We saw some large silverfish a night after a big rain in that front sunporch area, so I suspect perhaps some of that pretty window trim needs replaced or repaired, also so many ants!!3 The back yard - I imagined opening a door to let my dogs out to play. In reality you have to go outside and downstairs to get out to it. The gate is closed with bungee cords and there was junk in it.4 Sheets not on the bed - seems to be a Wildwood thing??Overall, the positives outweigh the negatives in this home and we had fun. The board games, books, beach towels and dishwasher pods were examples of thoughtful touches. Thanks Ciaran for having us!!

The stay

The house is beautiful outside, bathroom is a little outdated but also beautiful has the old rustic,castle vibe .spacious lots of beds. Nice updated kitchen and laundry. Has some beach stuff or the kids. Great for the kids. Found a wagon too to haul stuff to the beach. It is four blocks from board walk. It a 5 min walk . And best part you can watch the fire works from the front. Stoop.

Great place, clean, superb location

Our stay here was perfect. We had everything we needed and didn’t have to worry about bringing sheets or towels which was super convenient. The house itself is absolutely adorable - modernized vintage feel that makes for a truly unique stay. The place was clean and well maintained. I’d definitely come back.

Easy to relax

This house is perfect for a family (of all ages) flying into the area or that has limited space for all of their stuff. The kitchen has everything you need to make meals, and the house is comfortable and spacious. We had our dog with us, and they had everything for her, too!
