This barn conversion for families and groups of friends enjoys a peaceful location in a small village, just 1 mile from the stunning Norfolk coast. The property is perfectly placed for exploring Norfolkâs beautiful beaches, including Mundesley (5 miles) and Cromer (12 miles), as well as the idyllic waterside towns and villages of the Broads. Nearby attractions include National Trust properties at Felbrigg Hall and Blickling Hall, and a woodland adventure park at Bewilderwood (all within 15 miles).
The cottage has bags of personality, with original stone walls, exposed beams, and an eclectic mix of furniture and accessories. A sociable lounge/diner sits at the heart of the home, providing a cosy spot for chatting in front of the wood burner, curling up on the sofa to watch a movie on the Smart TV with sound bar, or sharing mealtimes together. Separated by an original wooden frame is the stylish kitchen area, with everything you need to cater for the group. At night, choose from one of two king-size bedrooms with en-suite bathrooms, or an inviting twin bedroom. A family shower room completes the accommodation. Outside, the large garden is laid to lawn, with ample space for children to play, as well as a picnic table and BBQ for dining in the sunshine.
The nearby village of Happisburgh (2.5 miles) has a secluded, sandy beach. When the tide is out you can enjoy long walks along the shoreline, taking you as far as Sea Palling, almost 8 miles away. Heading north, youâll soon reach the quaint village of Mundesley, where youâll discover another fabulous beach backed by colourful beach huts. The village also has a number of cafes and tearooms serving delicious local delicacies. For a day on the water, journey to the picturesque village of Wroxham (12 miles), considered the capital of the Broads.
