Welcome to True South Cottage in Norfolk! Skip the hotel and come stay in our completely renovated, spacious and charming cottage that is perfect for your group (of up to 6) to enjoy the beach or to be close to the bases. Located in a quiet neighborhood with 3 bedrooms (all with queen beds) and 2 full bathrooms. Cook your heart out with a fully stocked kitchen. You are going to love the backyard as you step out of the kitchen to a spacious, well-maintained backyard space with a grill. Our central location makes it easy to get to all neighboring cities in Hampton Roads and the best of Norfolk. Dogs allowed with prior approval and $15/day (per dog) pet fee.

Entire home and yard are yours to use! Garage is off limits to guests.
-No smoking allowed (weed or cigarettes) - evidence will incur a $500 minimum fine. Please smoke away from the home away from windows or doors and dispose of cigarette butts properly.

-Any visitors must also be listed in the guest count. Minimum fine of $50 per person per night will apply for any undisclosed guests.

-Please observe a 9 p.m.- 8 a.m. quiet hour for our neighbors. They are our utmost priority to continue to operate short term rentals for years to come. Noise violations are taken seriously and will have one courtesy warning before removal without repayment for nights unspent.

-Our place is not for parties. $500 minimum fine for parties. No refund will be given for nights unspent if we are forced to terminate the reservation due to a party.

- Undisclosed pets will incur a minimum $250 fine plus any extra cleaning charges.

- No refunds will be given for COVID-19 or weather related cancellations. Please consider purchasing trip insurance that covers any unforeseen circumstances. Please note during hurricane season our area is prone to inclement weather.

- $75 per hour charge for not checking out on time. Please communicate if you need more time, if we can accommodate we will not charge a fee.

- Ice makers are an extra amenity and no refunds will be given if they are not functioning properly.

- Any cleaning or maintenance issues must be addressed to the host. We must be able to attempt to fix the issue before offering refunds. If an issue is not addressed during the stay, no refunds will be provided.

-Stays over 60 days will require a clean every 30 days included in your booking fee.

*An application, screening, signed lease and deposit is required for 90+ day rentals-please inquire for more details. Bookings over 90 days are brokered by Sojourn Realty.

- Guest agrees to complete a third-party encrypted ID verification independent of the platform booked on for security purposes. If the guest does not complete the verification or the host is not comfortable with the screening results, host may cancel the reservation with full refund to the guest.

- Please note that we do not do shoveling or snow removal. Use caution in case of these situations, as we are not to be held liable.
