Good location, disappointing home.
Let me start with the positive- The location was great. A short drive to palm beach, and Arashi. The kitchen was clean and properly outfitted. It even had a fancy espresso machine (though no directions on how to use it). The cons-Absolutely ZERO hot water for showers (trust me, weâve stayed on the island multiple times before and are familiar with this issue though this was much worse.). The showers were lukewarm at best and uncomfortable to be honest. We also found the rugs to be dirty and the couch filthy, with stains All over the place on it. I hardly wanted to walk barefoot on the area rugs. The pool was constantly dirty as well. The air hockey machine was broken so donât count on using that unless they address whatever the issue is. One bedroom would leak water anytime it rained (through the mini split) and it puddled underneath on the floor. Another bedroom had a leaky toilet that pooled water in the bathroom. There was also an awful sewage smell that made the bedrooms in the long hallway almost unusable (though this was on and off, not constant). The lights for the pool ONLY came on in the middle of the night, despite attempting to put them on with the mystery light remote found in the kitchen with no instruction. One of the dining chairs at the outdoor/main dining table was broken and missing a bolt, which was dangerous especially if you have children. An overall information binder with home info, checkout procedure, etc would have been helpful.
